General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Molly Lansing-Davis has a ton on her plate right now. She’s not only grieving the loss of Baby Irene, but also the passing of her big sister, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Kristen Vaganos recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to talk about all how she felt as an actress after shooting her final scenes with Kelly Monaco.
General Hospital Spoilers – Molly Lansing-Davis’s Current State Of Mind
GH spoilers suggest that Molly is barely hanging on by a string. When SOD asked about her character’s state of mind and how she’s grappling with grief, the actress notes that the feeling is surreal for Molly.
She adds that all of Molly’s losses are simply too much, that the character is in survival mode. Kristen notes that her “heart goes out” to Molly in so many different ways, especially in light of how she and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) were fighting the last time they saw Sam.
Of course, Sam was trying to tell the other Davis girls she decided to be Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) liver donor, and her two younger sisters were too focused on bantering back and forth about the baby and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) trial.
Vaganos adds, “I remember after we shot that scene, knowing it was going to be the last time Molly and Kristina see Sam. I was fully crying after filming it because I had knowledge that Molly didn’t have yet [about Sam’s imminent death] and it broke my heart.”
GH Spoilers – The Feeling Of Wanting To Go Back
GH spoilers remind fans that Molly must have feelings of regret around the last time she saw Sam, considering the circumstance.
Vaganos tells SOD that there was a brief mention of this in the script, when Molly, “… puts together that that was the last time, she saw Sam and she just can’t believe she’ll never see her again, never be able to apologize for that [last encounter]. It’s just unbearable.”
Vaganos goes on to say, “I mean, my sister in real life is my best friend, too, and I just cannot even imagine how devastating this is for Molly. I just feel so bad for her!”
Do you think Molly will ever get over her last encounter with Sam?
