General Hospital Spoilers: Lane Davies Cast As Attorney With Alexis Connection, Santa Barbara Reunion!

General Hospital spoilers tease that the powers that be are hoping lightning strikes again! The show has cast Lane Davies as Fergus Byrne, who shares a dubious connection with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

As longtime soap fans know, Davies is best known for originating the role of Mason Capwell on Santa Barbara where he was one-half of a supercouple with Grahn who portrayed Julia Wainwright in the 80’s.

Davies appeared in the role from 1984 through 1989 after which Mason was recast, first by Terry Lester and later by Gordon Thompson.

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davies And Nancy Lee Grahn Have Teamed Up On General Hospital Before!

Davies formerly played Dr. Cameron Lewis on General Hospital from 2002 through 2004 and shares scenes with Grahn during his tenure until Cameron was killed off in 2004. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) is named after Davies earlier role.

Daytime fans might also recognize Davies from his role as Evan Whyland on Days of Our Lives or from when he temporarily played Ridge Forrester on The Bold and The Beautiful in 1992. Davies also has several prime-time roles under his belt.

GH Spoilers – Who Was Neil Byrne?

Alexis was once involved with Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flannigan). Neil was a therapist who fell in love with Alexis while she was his patient.

Alexis ended their professional relationship so they could be together but they didn’t wait for the required amount of time before they began dating.

Neil was given a hearing and Alexis lied under oath that they weren’t together. But Alexis’ perjury was discovered which resulted in Neil losing her license to practice medicine.

Alexis was also prohibited from practicing law. Unfortunately, Neil was murdered in Alexis’ bed after they made love by Harmony (Inga Cadranel).

General Hospital Spoilers – Fergus Byrne May Have Had A Part In Alexis Davis Losing Her License!

Fergus Byrne is Neil’s older brother and was on the board that decided to disbar Alexis even though he reclused himself.

Now that Alexis is appealing the decision, Fergus will likely return to make sure Alexis doesn’t get her license back.

But things will likely become complicated once Fergus and Alexis meet in person. Perhaps they will be immediately attracted to each other despite Alexis’ past history with his brother!
