General Hospital Spoilers: Laura And Her Family Now On Cyrus’ Hit List?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Laura Collins will do whatever she can do as Mayor to end the escalating violence brought about by the newest mob war. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) first attacked Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) with a three-pronged attack. No one was killed, but Laura was caught in the crossfire and spent several weeks in the hospital recuperating.

As part of his revenge plan against Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), Laura’s grandson Cameron Webber (William Lipton) ended up in danger. And Taggert, who was a good friend of Laura’s, ended up passing away.

Once she found out who Cyrus was and where he could be found, she knew she had to find a way to keep him from all communications with the outside world. So at least for the time being, Laura had the warden at Pentonville put Cyrus in solitary confinement. This should keep Cyrus from being able to give any orders.

GH Spoilers – But solitary won’t keep him forever

But Laura won’t be able to keep Cyrus in solitary indefinitely. And of course, there is no guarantee that Cyrus hasn’t already laid out his plans and a timetable. It’s been hinted that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) may be Cyrus next victim, but he probably already gave that order before Laura took action. Cyrus attacks have been on two fronts: revenge on the four DEA agents who put him away and going after Sonny. He may make the mistake of just seeing Laura as an annoyance. But it would be a huge mistake to underestimate Laura.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault has no problem with who he hurts

Laura, and her family, could find themselves the newest members of Renault’s hit list. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) could also become targets if Renault decides he could do the most harm to Laura by going after her loved ones. So as the mob war escalates, and sides are taken, Laura’s leadership will likely be the reason the city survives and even flourishes. But it’s likely to get worse before it gets better, and the city of Port Charles will turn to its mayor to navigate these waters.
