General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Fears She Killed Dalton, But Is He Already Dead?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Laura Collins (Genie Francis) runs into something on a dark road in the night, and thinks she killed Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard)!

But things are not always as they appear, especially not in Port Charles-perhaps she ran over him, but was he already dead, not upright in the path of her car?

Laura Confronts Dalton Over Framing Rocco While Sonny Confronts Turner

GH viewers recall that Laura confronted Dalton over framing Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) confronted Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

Dalton brought new evidence that was obviously staged, and as she shouted at Dalton that he’s a liar, Sonny wanted to know what happened to Rocco’s plea bargain?

In the meantime, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was increasingly impatient with Dalton’s incompetence, and replaced him with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Dalton, in turn, tried to get Britt to go in with him to sell the technology and she busted him to Sidwell. Sidwell is fuming over the whole scenario, especially after the kids broke into the lab; he knows that something has to be done!

Doppelgängers Being Created?

Rocco, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) never found any animals in need of rescue, but there were many computers showing DNA sequencing.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) suspected Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was behind the secret project in Dalton’s lab that began at the Five Poppies, and was kidnapped.

But no one knows because “she” called both Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and neither could tell the difference-perhaps doppelgängers are being created?

There was also a clear image of someone’s brain on a computer, although Rocco and the kids only noticed there were no lab animals to be rescued!

Might there already be doppelgängers of Anna and Faison, and perhaps even Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is one of them, if the technology’s there?

Might There Be A Doppelgänger Even Of Dalton?

It would be very convenient if Sidwell had in place a doppelgänger even of Dalton-one he could control at will.

We already know Sidwell, Dalton, Pascal (Marc Forget) and Britt are involved in the same shady shenanigans, although Britt is being leveraged by her medicine, which Sidwell provides. He wants Sonny’s piers, and he wants both Sonny and Laura out of the way of his procuring them.

We already know that Sidwell is likely framing Laura for Dalton’s death, and perhaps framing Sonny as well, as a doubleheader!

What if the body Laura runs over is the real Dalton’s dead body, and a doppelgänger either real or digital came across the road, to lure her?
