General Hospital (GH) spoilers divulge that daytime fans are in for a treat as one soap’s loss is another show’s gain. Alley Mills has been recurring in the role of Pam Douglas on CBS’s The Bold and the Beautifl and now joins General Hospital. The acting icon will debut in Port Charles, New York, later this this month according to Soap Opera Digest.

Mills debuted on B&B as Pam Douglas in 2006. She was placed on recurring status in 2019. Pam is the sister of former matriarch Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and was most recently involved with Charlie Webber (Dick Christie).

Pam was known as the Lemon Bar Lady for always handing out her signature dessert to Spencers, Forresters and Logans alike. Now that Mills is coming to GH, will the show give a wink and a nod to her past character by having her become the Brownie Lady? The Gingerbread Lady? Whatever Mills’ character gets up to, fans are in for a treat as the legendary actress is sure to bring the fire and rain to Port Chuck.

She could be involved with the front burner plot that has Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in Florida fighting to stop her mom’s graveyard from being relocated. Or she could star in the never-ending, extremely ridiculous Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) plot. Then again, maybe she is Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) mysterious boss?

General Hospital Spoilers – Alley Mills Is An Acting Star

Mills starred as Norma Arnold, the mother in on the primetime show The Wonder Years, from 1988-1993. If Mills joins the Carly plot, she will join another acclaimed actress, Linda Purl, who is starring as Snarly’s nemesis Peyton Honeycutt. Perhaps Mills’ character will be more sympathetic to Carly?

Or would Mills’ character be in cahoots with evil Peyton? It is anyone’s guess for now as to who Mills will portray. But one thing is certain, her addition to the GH cast is one of the best moves the show has made in ages!
