General Hospital Spoilers: Liz And Finn Dance Get Closer, Then Hayden Comes Home?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) have gone back and forth with their relationship over the last couple of years. On and off again, viewers are growing tired of the stale chemistry between them. Last year, we saw Liz abruptly pull away from Finn as she struggled with mental health problems after unraveling a 25-year mystery involving her parents.

Now, it looks like Liz and Finn are about to find their way back to one another, and it’s unclear whether anyone is in the mood for that again. Is there any way that GH can get us back on the same page and rooting for this couple, or have they burned us out entirely?

General Hospital Spoilers — Hamilton Finn Voices His Regrets

Soon, Finn will share his immense regrets with Liz. We’re not really sure what the guy could be regretful about. After all, he did everything in his power to be there for her, support her, and be the man she always said she needed. Finn did nothing wrong.

Rather, Elizabeth just wouldn’t let him in — and she seems to have no reason for pushing him away. Perhaps we’re going to see even more emasculation of Finn as he tells her how much he regrets not leaving her to her own devices when she was struggling.

Some GH fans are lamenting over this, citing it as a terrible representation of female empowerment, rather than having Liz come around to his way of thinking — that a man and woman should balance one another out in a relationship, never leaving one person having to carry the whole load.

Of course, Finn is going to come around and apologize for pushing Elizabeth or trying to be there for her in her time of need, and some viewers think she’s going to lap that up.

Repeatedly, we’ve seen Finn couple up with women who appear to be stronger than he is. After his bout with addiction, we saw him rise to the top of his career and then welcomed a softer side of him when he found out he had a daughter — Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). But now it seems that Finn has gone soft all around and that the goal is to consistently pair him up with a more masculine woman to balance him out. Maybe this is the reason this couple can’t seem to work out.

General Hospital Spoilers — Hayden Barnes Is Home

Regardless, it sounds like Finn and Elizabeth are headed for more than friendship once again. But rumor has it there is drama on the horizon. Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) could finally make her way home. This would be the perfect time for her to re-enter Port Charles while Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is away.

Previously, it was hinted on General Hospital that Nikolas may have had Hayden taken care of — a.k.a. killed. But it seems that is not the case, and it has never been confirmed. Is Hayden coming home just in time to ruffle her sister’s feathers — particularly where their parents and Finn are concerned?
