It will be up to Brando to encourage Sasha to let go of baby Liam. Both of them will be filled with grief. Even though Liam wasn’t planned, the two fell in love and were committed to being the best parents for Liam. Now they will have to go home to an empty nursery and no baby in the crib. Each time they see another baby, it will probably bring up memories of losing Liam.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Mike and Brando share a special reconnection before the character’s death. They had a special relationship and while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is trying to be supportive, Brando could use a little extra support. Brando and Sasha even gave their baby the middle name of Mike.

So, at the height of Brando’s grief, could he receive a ghostly visit from Mike? Could Mike help Brando accept the loss and promise to take care of Liam in the afterlife?

Christmas spoilers tease that some characters will find joy after tragedy and heartbreak. So, maybe this is in reference to Brando and Sasha. Maybe Liam’s death will serve a purpose, like saving another baby’s life. If that happened, then perhaps Brando and Sasha wouldn’t feel that Liam’s birth and death were for nothing. It would mean that Liam had a purpose and while that will never make his death okay, it could give the parents some understanding of why it had to happen.
