General Hospital Spoilers: Lucy Horrified, Deception Is Broke-Blames Gladys, Gambled Away Funds?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that when Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) checks up on her business, Deception Cosmetics, she’ll be horrified. She’ll return to “life” finding out her company is broke, and none other than Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is responsible-she gambled away all the business funds!

General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Has A Gambling Problem

Gladys has a gambling problem and a very serious one – and even though the company has been on hold during Lucy’s absence she still had her company card.

Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) was also on a leave of absence after she had a breakdown following Liam Corbin’s (uncast infant) death.

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) became Sasha’s guardian, and after he was killed by the Hook Gladys took over handling Sasha’s money-and spent it.

Gladys apparently gambled away Sasha’s money after she gambled away her own, and Deception’s, through her company credit card. It hadn’t been the first time Gladys misused her card, she’d bought herself some expensive items while working as well.

GH Spoilers: Lucy Coe Has Been Kidnapped And In Hiding, Now Is Back

Lucy has been kidnapped, presumed dead, and then in hiding, but now she’s back and getting ready to work on Deception Cosmetics business but finds she has no funds.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine, (Amanda Setton) who is Gladys’ direct supervisor should have cut off her corporate card but failed to, being preoccupied with the music business.

Everyone involved with the company has either been away or otherwise involved, and now there’s a huge problem.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been in the safe house with Lucy, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) as well, being a major business partner.

There’s still a Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) takedown looming, and afterwards, Valentin will figure something out to get the company up and running again.

General Hospital Spoilers: Gladys Corbin Will Be Fired

One thing that they know for certain, and that’s Gladys will be fired – Sasha will agree to that; her money is gone too, and she’s laying into her mother in law.

Misappropriation of funds, fraud, and all kinds of charges could be leveled against Gladys, although Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is settling her debt with Selina Wu (Lydia Look).

Gladys will be required to get therapy and join a support group for her gambling addiction, and she won’t be hired again.

The only reason she was hired in the first place is because Sasha was trying to help her mother in law, who needed a legitimate job. It’s plain that Gladys can handle neither a real job nor one where she has access to money, but Lucy will have to start from scratch.
