General Hospital spoilers tease Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) thinks this one is in the bag, but he’s got another thing coming. He’s been mapping out his big return to Port Charles for years, and when he was discovered alive and well in Crete, he took that as an opportunity to go home and allegedly reconnect with his family.
The truth is, he was seeking to co-opt his family and make them worship him. There’s nothing he finds more disdainful than Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and Spencer Cassadine (Nichola Chavez) failing to bow to his feet. That’s about to change though, when Victor meets his match in Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), who is far from dead and ready for war.
General Hospital Spoilers — Luke Spencer’s Remains Were Never Found
Everyone seemed to accept Luke’s death at face value, but the truth is, his remains were never found. No one personally connected to him was present at the time of his death, and GH fans have found it hard to believe Luke went out that way — in a cable car crash. There has to be more to the story, and there will be. If Luke’s body was never found, that means he’s still alive in GH world.
GH Spoilers – Hint Someone Else Has Him
Many fans have assumed Victor has been holding Luke hostage all of this time and letting everyone believe he’s dead, but someone else may have their clutches in him. General Hospital spoilers show Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is headed back to Port Charles, and it just may be that she’s the one who has been holding Luke against his will.
It wouldn’t be the first time. Her obsession with him has spanned decades, and nothing would delight her more than to know no one was even looking for him because he was presumed dead. It was the perfect plan, and only someone as sinister as Victor would have helped her carry it out. But that doesn’t mean he did.
General Hospital Spoilers — Victor Cassadine’s Ex Holds His Trump Card
Still, just because Helena may be holding onto Luke doesn’t mean Victor knows anything about it. She may have sentenced him to death herself, only to make sure he wasn’t on that cable car and was actually scooped up and carted off to be detained for her liking. Victor could be clueless on that front, and it’s possible that he will be just as stunned as everyone else when Luke turns up again and wants revenge. If you ever believed Luke was dead raise your hand.
Yeah, me neither.
I never believed it either but I DID believe Tony when he said he had NO plans to revive the character or do anything but stay retired from acting. There isn’t a Luke Spencer fan alive that would accept ANYTHING remotely resembling a recast……….
I’d love to be absolutely flabbergasted during the last minutes of a future Friday show to see Anthony Geary on my television screen during the airing of GH but I’m skeptical.
Agreed. I’d love to see Tony come back, even to tie ends up but he was very adamant that he would not come out of retirement. A recast would not be right.
The idea that both Kiki and Luke would be resurrected would spell the end of GH. Stretching belief so far would be too much for most grown up fans. Good grief!
