General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Awakens To Willow – New BFFs Bond Over “Chats”

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is back to her nurse post, and hit the ground running during the Wednesday, September 11 episode. A patient on her roster was Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) and Willow took the opportunity to give the fellow mom some encouragement. Willow chatted up a storm, telling Lulu that she understood her plight (as she was once in a similar situation), but also told the comatose mom that she needed to hold on to some hope.

After spilling some tea of her own about her feelings for Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) checked in on Willow and commended her for talking to Lulu, as many nurses tend to forget there is a person behind the coma. Is there more to this scene than meets the eye?

GH spoilers hint that there’s a chance Lulu heard Willow’s confession about Drew. This might be the reason behind this scene. Then again, it could’ve been to further Willow’s story about her obsession with Drew.

After all, she left her job at the The New Tomorrow Institute and went back to nursing, so she could get her mind off her hubby’s, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), uncle. But despite being at her nursing job, all she could talk or think about was Drew.

GH Spoilers – Could Lulu Spencer Awaken To Willow Corinthos?

Fans know that Lulu will wake up at some point, after all, news recently broke that All My Children’s alum Alexa Havins has been recast in the role.

So much has changed in Port Charles since Lulu fell into her coma. One major development is Lulu’s best, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) also happens to be besties with Lulu’s “rival”, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton). Could this rub Lulu the wrong way?

If Lulu awakens to Willow’s voice, could this also bond the two ladies? After all, Lulu may feel drawn to Willow as a friend, and she may even remember how the nurse talked to her so much while she was “asleep”.

Whether or not she remembers the details of what Willow said, Willow touching Lulu’s hand at the beginning of their scene on Wednesday, seemed to foreshadow the two ladies might get close once Lulu wakes up.
