General Hospital Spoilers: Major Mom Heartache For MargauxGeneral Hospital spoilers tease that DA Margaux Dawson (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will have a very difficult time dealing with the shock from learning her mother Jeanette Marino (Ely Pouget) ordered a hit on her long lost father Vincent Marino (uncast)!

She already passed out drunk in her mother’s house with a pile of her mother’s love letters to and from Joe Scully (Robert Miano). Luckily, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) stayed with her so she won’t wake up totally alone. She can’t be too mad at him since he warned her that the truth would not be something she would really want to hear!

Margaux’s whole world and remembrances of her childhood and family have fallen apart underneath her. She’s an only child, so there are no siblings to commiserate with, and she really doesn’t have any friends either. The one friend she may have had, Drew Cain (Billy Miller) was turned off and driven away by her constant ploys to use him to arrest Sonny!

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Feels Bad For Margaux

Ironically, now Sonny may be the only friend she has in the world, even if he is more of a frenemy! He obviously felt sorry for her and felt bad that he was partly the cause of her sorrow. He showed a great deal of compassion by helping her to the couch and covering her with a blanket. When she wakes up, she’ll realize there’s more to Sonny than murdering mobster, and he’s already realized there’s more to Margaux than determined DA!

For many years Margaux put her family on a pedestal, not just her father, but her mother as well. However, there must have been just a hint of mother-daughter dysfunction for Margaux to agree to team up with Sonny, wearing a wire at that, to get to the truth. She probably figured that the “proof” he had about her mother playing a part in her father’s death would be just gossip and unable to substantiate.

On the other hand, she must have had just a little bit of suspicion that there could be some truth to his allegations. Still, when one has their doubts about something and doesn’t want to accept it could be true, when one is hit in the face with undeniable proof it can be a shock, and in Margaux’s case, a devastating heartbreaker!
