General Hospital Spoilers – Maurice Benard Admits Being A Fan Of Taylor Swift

As most know, singing sensation Taylor Swift went out on the road in 2023, selling out arenas all across America with her Eras Tour. In 2024, the tour was brought to homes via the streaming service, Disney+.

On top of that, she also happens to have a high-profile romance with Kansas City Chiefs player, and Super Bowl winner, Travis Kelce.

What does all this have to do with soap star Maurice Benard? Well, it seems spending a little time with family at home has transformed the actor into a Swiftie.

He recently posted an adorable video of his granddaughter TT singing and dancing to Taylor in the background, and Benard’s caption on the post was, “I’m going to admit to you I wasn’t a thrifty (Swifty),” Benard posted to Instagram along with a video of his little granddaughter TT dancing to a Taylor tune.

“Not because I didn’t think @taylorswift was incredibly talented I get the hoopla. It just really wasn’t my kind of music and her boyfriend @killatrav beat my guy @brock.purdy13 in the Super Bowl not a great thing to do!!! “But after a week at home with my kids and grandkids, watching her concert and watching my granddaughter, TT dance. I’M A SWIFTY.”

GH Spoilers – Maurice Benard Isn’t The Only Swifty In Port Charles

Of course, some of Maurice’s colleagues ran to the comment section, and his onscreen daughters, Ava and Grace Scarola (Avery), chimed in with, “We can be Swifties together.”

Actress Kate Mansi, Benard’s onscreen daughter Kristina Corinthos also jumped in the comments section, “welcoming” him to the Swifty group.
