Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) recently returned to Port Charles after living in Nixon Falls and having amnesia for close to a year. GH viewers have been expecting some animosity between Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) because while the mob boss was away his best friend and his wife fell in love. Benard however, assured his fans that the current storyline would not affect the bond between Jason and Sonny.

In the video, Maurice Benard said that his General Hospital character still had feelings for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that might come to the surface and viewers know Nina is still in love with Mike.
