Brenda and Sonny are arguably one of the soap opera’s most popular couples, and one of daytime drama’s most recognized. Besides Sonny Brenda was also married to Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

In 2013 Brenda, who understandably has a contentious relationship with the current Mrs. Corinthos’ Carly (Laura Wright), came back to town and wreaked havoc on her enemy. She pretended to have a one-night stand with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to get back at Carly.
In an attack of conscience, Brenda confessed to Sonny before leaving Port Charles but also invited him to go with her. He declined but kind of left the door open to a reconciliation.
Is now the perfect time for Brenda and Sonny to try again?

GH Spoilers – Will Brenda Barrett Return To Port Charles?
Every so often a rumor is floated about Brenda coming back to Port Chuck. Fans’ hopes get high and in the end nothing comes of the speculation.
But with the epic finale of Mike’s life on the horizon, there is a perfect opportunity to have the lively brunette return for Mike’s funeral and to pay her respects to Sonny.
Of course, it wouldn’t end there! This is pure speculation but the prospect of Brenda’s return can’t be underestimated. Sonny is under siege personally and professionally and Brenda’s reappearance in his life would be a major turning point. Could she be the only one who can help Sonny if his life starts to crumble?
Sonny and Brenda haven’t been a couple for years. Unless they’ve been in contact behind all of our backs they’ve also had no contact for years so why even bring her up. GH needs to go forward not back! Leave the dead dead, finish up old storylines, use the beloved characters we have now sitting on the back burner before dragging in a lot of old characters we quit caring about years ago and bringing in new people who have no relevance.
Brenda may return, but not just for a Sonny hookup which definitely doesn’t need to occur. Current story lines that have been on canvas for over a year need to be ended before anything new is added;. Pairings and hookups have their place, but none are needed at this time, as most if not all of the pairings on canvas need fixing in my opinion.
Sorry, but I’ll take them any way I can get them. They’re hot together! Besides, what’s love got to do with it? It’s all about their passion!

Let Brenda and Holly stay gone forever those two a so boring, but of course the writers will write a boring story line for them that will go on forever!

I was actually really surprised and really happy when Holly actually showed up. I hope this doesn't drag out too long because I would love to see a Scorpio Holly reunion.
Please bring Sonny & Brenda back together forever. They are so good for each other. He loved her like no other. They make the show exciting to watch. I watch all the old videos of them together. I could see your ratings going up with them together again. Brenda & Sonny were the best couple on this show. I think you will make a lot of people happy. BRENDA & SONNY
