General Hospital Spoilers: Mob Drama Has The “Real” Sonny Corinthos Emerge From The Shadows

General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that SMike may retreat, and the “real” Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could return to the land of Port Charles very soon. Sonny’s gone through a real identity crisis these past few years.

His father’s passing, then dealing with amnesia, his time in Nixon Falls, his love affair with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and his subsequent separation from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Since Corinthos’s romance with Nina and time in Nixon Falls, fans have seen a “softer” side of Sonny, versus the no-nonsense mobster Sonny of the past. But is that all about to change?

General Hospital Spoilers -Maurice Benard Offers Some Clues About What’s In Store

GH spoilers promise some major plot twists for Sonny in the weeks ahead. There’s been a ton of talk around this Pikeman shipment, so fans know something huge is set to unravel. Especially since Dex Heller (Evan Hoffer) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are planning to finally bring Sonny down with this deal. A scheme they have been plotting for months now.

While on Twitter recently, the actor who plays Sonny, Maurice Benard, replied to a GH fan’s tweet about the “real” Sonny returning. Benard notes in this post that, “Sonny’s coming” back, “slowly, but surely”.
