General Hospital Spoilers Monday, January 25: Martin’s Kidnapping Story Pitch – Valentin Accuses Jax – Maxie’s Big Idea For Sasha

General: Hospital Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 25, tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be pleased with herself after she comes up with some big idea. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) wasn’t able to tell her story at Crimson since Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) rejected Maxie’s pitch. However, Maxie isn’t usually one to give up, so she might have another angle to work here.

It seems like Maxie could easily talk Peter August (Wes Ramsey) into running the very same story at The Invader. Maxie may even hope to lock Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) in to write it, but Jackie is a busy gal who usually goes for stories that hit a bit harder. One of those stories will drop into Jackie’s lap when Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) approaches with a pitch regarding his mother’s snatching.

Jackie will get the kidnapping news before Martin appeals to her for help. He may think public pressure is what it’s going to take if Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) ever going to return Florence Grey (Annie Abbott). Martin may want to drag the Corinthos clan through the mud and potentially seek the public’s help with finding his mom, too.

General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Gray’s Tale

Martin will tell a compelling tale as far as Jackie’s concerned, so she should at least agree to think about it. Once Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) gets updates, he’ll insist Martin should retract that offer and forget about it. Valentin will think he has a much better plan to get Florence back safely – and it ties in with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

After Valentin arrives on Jax’s doorstep, he’ll accuse him of being an accomplice. Valentin may argue this kidnapping mess has Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) written all over it. Carly is impulsive, but Jason is levelheaded and wouldn’t have resorted to something like this unless Carly made the move without his approval.

Valentin might contend that Carly couldn’t have pulled it off on her own. He might create some story where Jax helped Carly steal Martin’s poor mother and try to make him look bad in Nina’s eyes. Valentin will give some type of warning and dangle some bait that he hopes Jax takes along with Nina.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine’s Threat

Jax may wonder if he should react in some way to Valentin’s threat, but Nina will think giving Valentin attention is the worst thing he could possibly do. She won’t want to let Valentin think he’s winning or messing with them on some level.

Nevertheless, Valentin should indeed rock the boat based on other General Hospital spoilers for next week. Nina will gain another perspective that could put her on the path to a painful truth about Jax and Carly’s secret-keeping.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Will Be Happy

Next, Carly will be unbelievably glad to see someone in Monday’s GH episode. Since we know Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will work to distract Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) on Tuesday, it seems she’ll be the one who meets up with Carly and learns the whole necklace story on Monday.

Carly will be desperate for a partner in crime, so Bobbie should help her nail down this plan to retrieve the half-heart pendant. Until then, it appears Ava will tell Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about getting the necklace back after some tense words from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Nikolas may think Ava would be better off leaving Carly and her family alone. Now that Ava has Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) back, there’s no point in creating unnecessary drama for herself. Ava might counter that she had to get the necklace back to appease Avery, but at least it’s all squared away now.

GH Spoilers – A Silver Lining

Ava will hint that there’s a silver lining she can promise Nikolas. Maybe Ava will talk about how happy she is to have full custody of Avery since now they can be a united family – no more sharing with Carly and her crew! Although Ava doesn’t intend to keep Avery from her siblings or former stepmom, there’s no doubt that Ava wants to concentrate on forming this little “Nava” fam now.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will ask if Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) prepared for something. Sasha may get grilled about the possibility that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) won’t take her back – or the possibility that he will. Since Sasha can’t know for sure if a second chance will work out, Chase may feel like Sasha needs to protect her heart just in case.

Michael will also have another conversation with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) on Monday. Willow will wonder if Michael needs more time, but it seems they’ll both be on the same page about signing the annulment papers and putting their marriage behind them.

Of course, Michael and Willow will remain connected through co-parenting Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). That lingering link could pull them back together down the road, but we’ll just have to see how things go for Willow and Michael! Stick with ABC’s GH and don’t forget to check back often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.

Willow and Chase make the case for me! As someone who tried hard to stay in a relationship for my children's sake, I know it doesn't work for either party. Marriages are hard enough with love, and miserable without the main ingredient.
