General Hospital Spoilers Monday, January 4: Cyrus Wants Mom Back, Another Fierce Jason Faceoff – Carly Defends Dangerous Move

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 4, tease that some heated showdowns are coming up. First, we should mention that GH will air a repeat episode on Thursday, December 31, which will be followed by a preemption on Friday, January 1. The next new episode of General Hospital will air on Monday, so just keep that in mind!

As for what’s ahead in Monday’s gripping show, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will head to the police station with two goals. For starters, Portia will want to request a meeting with Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) before his release. However, Portia will also want to take this opportunity to rip into Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) for her part in Taggert’s faked death deception.

Once Jordan gets an earful all over again, Taggert will also face another round of Portia’s anger. Even so, there’s one thing Portia and Taggert can agree on. They’ll want to do whatever they can to help Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) through this difficult ordeal.

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson’s Fury

Despite Portia’s fury, she’ll know Trina still needs her dad. Portia will encourage Taggert to fight for his relationship with Trina and do whatever he can to repair the damage. Across town, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get drunk again and spout off about Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

It’ll occur to Alexis that Ava and Nikolas are actually in love, so she’ll make some comments that Ava doesn’t approve of. Alexis may also talk about Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) deadly fate and find another way to rile Ava up.

Nikolas will probably send the women to their corners, but Ava will snap about something being her right. Ava could mean her right to defend her marriage, her brother or anything else she sees fit. Nikolas will have to work his magic and hopefully convince Ava that there’s no need to fight. They’re on the same side now, so Nikolas has Ava’s back.

GH Spoilers – Jasper Jacks Takes Someone Away

Other General Hospital spoilers say Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will plan to take someone away whether she likes it or not. The most logical option here is Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who could easily be shipped off to Australia until the mob crisis has passed.

Nevertheless, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have an interesting reaction to Jax’s news on Monday. Nina’s advice will catch Jax off guard, so Nina might think Jax needs to hold off on making a move so drastic. It’s not worth uprooting Josslyn’s life if Jax doesn’t have to. Joss might hate Jax for doing it so close to graduation, especially since Joss and her friends all need one another at the moment.

Whatever the case, we know Josslyn will be around in the months ahead. Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), they’ll have a meeting about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Laura will contend that she needs leverage on their brother, so Martin will be put on the spot. He might be wary of giving Laura information that could put her at risk, but he might be willing to help her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Is Busy

Of course, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been busy taking care of things her way! Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will reel as he realizes Carly made sure Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) was swiped from her facility in Vermont and transported elsewhere. Carly won’t apologize for making a swift move against Cyrus. She’ll shrug it off and insist that they needed leverage – and now they have it.

However, Jason will argue that “it” is Cyrus’ beloved mother! This is personal for Cyrus now, so he’ll be more of a wildcard than he’s ever been. Jason won’t agree with Carly’s tactic, but she’ll stand her ground and believe her decision was the right call.

As for Cyrus, he’ll place blame on someone in Monday’s GH episode. Cyrus may hurl accusations at Laura and assume she set this in motion. General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will ultimately spark another major confrontation with Jason, who’s in charge while Sonny’s out of the picture. Things are sure to get intense as Cyrus demands to know where his mother is.

Cyrus will be determined to get Florence back, but he’ll run into some roadblocks once Carly inevitably gets Jason on board with her plan. We’ll give you updates as other GH details emerge.
