General Hospital Spoilers Monday, June 22: Arrested Sam Protects Sonny – Jason’s Explosive Move, Nikolas Helps with Risky Plot

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, June 22, tease that a week of “JaSam” classics is kicking off – starting with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) meeting Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for the first time. GH is throwing it back with an episode that originally aired on December 3, 2003. Here’s the scoop on this exciting General Hospital encore.

At the police station, Sam’s been arrested for aiding and abetting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and joins an arrested Jason in the interrogation room. Sam lets Jason know she has no intention of testifying against Sonny.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jax Tries To Change Sam’s Mind

Later, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) tries to change Sam’s mind about cooperating with the PCPD. Jax thinks so many young women have risked everything to protect Sonny, but Sam isn’t backing down on this.

Jason’s hopeful that Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) can find out more about what Faith Rosco (Cynthia Preston) might have in store. Nikolas tries his best, but he can’t get any hints out of Faith. Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) ends up eavesdropping and finding out about Faith’s upcoming drug deal on the pier. Faith wants a full-blown takeover and intends to destroy the Corinthos empire.

Dillon Quartermaine (Scott Clifton) gets caught with Georgie Jones (Lindze Leatherman) and faces Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) wrath for it. Tracy warns she could send Dillon to military school, but he isn’t worried due to his new job. It’s giving Dillon financial security, so he doesn’t need handouts from the Quartermaines.

GH Spoilers: Georgie Not Happy With Dillon’s Career Choice

Afterward, Georgie reconvenes with Dillon and gripes about him working for Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King). Georgie would rather see Dillon head to military school than watch him take a bullet and wind up dead. Jason stops by to reassure Sonny at GH before meeting up with Courtney. Once Jason learns about Faith’s shipment, he ignores Courtney’s plea and insists on taking care of this.

Nikolas creates a distraction down on the docks later. That gives Jason a chance to set off an explosive to blow up Faith’s shipment. Courtney heads home, where she takes off her wedding band and gets a surprise visit from Brian Beck (Michael McLafferty).

General Hospital Spoilers & Updates: Carly Puts The Pressure On Lorenzo

As for Carly Corinthos (Tamara Braun), she seeks out Lorenzo and pushes him not to testify against Sonny. After Lorenzo agrees to Carly’s wishes, she notes that Sonny could still try to finish Lorenzo off if he walks free.

Meanwhile, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) visits Sonny to talk about Sam’s fate. She can either be an innocent victim or a willing accomplice depending on Sonny’s story. Ric convinces Sonny to make a kidnapping confession, which allows for Sam’s release.

After Carly learns what Sonny’s done, she hopes to get the confession tossed out. Sonny wants to stick to the plan since Sam shouldn’t have to go down for his mistakes.
