General Hospital spoilers say the action heats up fast in this classic, so fans will definitely want to tune in.
First, Morgan Corinthos (Aaron Sanders) comments on all the gifts for Josslyn Jacks’ christening. After Morgan learns Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was also christened, he believes they all have a free pass to heaven. Michael seems glum as he tells Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) he doesn’t think he has one, but Carly reassures her son that what happened to Claudia was about protecting Josslyn.
Lady Jane Jacks (Barbara Tarbuck) brings over some presents before sitting down with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). She can tell something’s wrong and gets Jax to admit he’s keeping a secret from Carly. Jax confesses that he made arrangements to remove Sonny from all their lives. He feels confident Sonny’s arrest is coming up soon.
ABC General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny and Jason Plot Against Dominic Pirelli
Over with Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), they discuss the plan to kill “Dominic Pirelli” aka Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) shows up and makes it clear that Sonny shouldn’t ruin Josslyn’s christening with any mob drama. Jason reassures Olivia that they don’t intend to cause issues.
Back with Jax, he checks on sleeping Josslyn and refuses to be sorry for protecting their family. Even so, Jax knows Carly may not forgive him. After Carly pays a quick visit to Sonny, she joins Jax and expresses her happiness. Later, Michael wants Dominic updates from Jax, but Jax can’t offer any. He thinks Michael should just focus on the christening.
Meanwhile, Ronnie Dimestico (Ronnie Marmo) worries Dante might try to warn Sonny about his impending arrest. Dante’s upset about his commitment to the investigation being questioned, so Ronnie backs down. However, Ronnie does feel like he’s seen a change in Dante since he became part of Sonny’s organization.
GH Updates & Spoilers: Dante Under Pressure From Police
Dante argues that the holdup on arresting Sonny is for his family’s sake. He’s just giving Carly and Sonny’s kids one final day of bliss. Ronnie’s still concerned about the delay giving Sonny a chance to find out Dante’s secretly a cop.

At Kelly’s, Lulu Spencer (Julie Marie Berman) is concerned about the christening and pushes Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) to attend as backup. Next, Dante appears and gets confirmation that Lulu’s still all in on the relationship. They make plans to meet at the church before Dante kisses Lulu goodbye.
On The Haunted Star, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) delivers an apology to Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and is surprised when he quickly accepts it. Luke acknowledges that he isn’t a big fan of Liz right now, but he gets that everyone makes mistakes. Lulu shows up and scolds Luke for talking to that “lying piece of trash.”
After Liz exits, Luke reminds Lulu that Liz didn’t hurt Lucky alone. Lulu acknowledges that she’s angry with Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) as well, but she mostly blames Liz. At the church, the guests arrive and talk before the christening. Sonny isn’t there yet, but Jax convinces Carly that they should proceed without him.
General Hospital Spoilers Next Week: Sonny Corinthos Shoots Dante
Sonny sets up a meeting with Dominic and tries to lure him into a setup. Dominic thinks he’ll be dead by nightfall if he goes and ultimately realizes Sonny knows his secret. After Dante starts to make the arrest, Sonny pulls a gun on him and asks for any last words.
Dante makes a speech about Sonny ordering a hit on Lieutenant Poletti. He has zero respect for Sonny and hates him, but Sonny doesn’t care and is sure Poletti deserved it. Once Sonny fires a shot at Dante’s heart, Olivia bursts in and freaks. She shouts that Sonny just shot his own son, so Sonny looks shocked over the news.
