TLC ’90 Day Fiance -The Other Way’ Spoilers: Who Are Tim And Melyza?

TLC “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way” fans will see a brand new couple in the next new episode of “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way.” Fans will get to know Tim and Melyza, but who are they?

Tim Is 34 And Hails From Texas

There is not a lot about Tim that has been released ahead of time, except that he is a thirty-four-year-old from Texas and the second man named Tim who has appeared in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. The previous Tim was Tim Malcolm, who dated Jeniffer Tarazona on “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on Season 4.” We don’t know the new Tim’s last name yet, but we can discern that he has something in common with Tom Brooks and Colt Johnson; a fluffy feline friend!

In a preview, Tim tries rather unsuccessfully to train his kitty to walk on a leash! He drags the pretty tabby cat out the door, calls it “buddy” so we can discern it’s a male, and he won’t cooperate, tail between his legs. Tim finally scoots kitty out the door and into the backyard and crawls on his hands and knees, and the cat is still suspicious of this whole maneuver, but cautiously follows him around dragging the leash behind him!

He says he met Melyza in the United States while he was in college in Iowa working as a bartender, and she was working as an au pair – in other words, a live-in nanny or housekeeper from a foreign country who works for room and board. Tim thinks it’s his goofy sense of humor that won her over in spite of other men trying to get her attention in the bar, and they hit it off right away.

Melyza Is 29 Years Old And Hails From Colombia But Lived In The United States About A Year

As previously mentioned, Melyza was in the United States working as an au pair in Iowa but relocated to Boston within a week of meeting him. They hit it off so well, they decided to start a long-distance relationship. She was in the United States for close to a year and then went back to Colombia to finish her own schooling. Ultimately, the distance in even a long-distance relationship within a country is difficult, but when half of the couple moves back to their home in a foreign country, it can be a pretty tough wall to scale when one is thinking about spending their life with someone.

Tim became discouraged and thought perhaps the wall that the distance between them built may be insurmountable, but since she had planned to move to Texas, where he had returned to in order to be with him, he did something, which will likely be revealed in future episodes of “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way” to lose her trust. Now the plan is for him to move to Colombia to be with her, to prove his love, but Melyza’s mother doesn’t trust him either so he will have to prove a lot of things for either Melyza or her mother to be willing to trust him again!
