General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Is Missing — And Everyone Reacts In Their Own Way

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is missing, and no one knows what to think about the way he just vanished from Port Charles without a trace. His family has been left behind in shambles, but they all know they had basically iced him out anyway. Was this their fault, and did they deserve any kind of goodbye?

Nikolas was so committed to raising his child who Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is due to give birth to anytime now. It doesn’t make sense that he would spontaneously ditch his future and his baby. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will take this news the hardest — an about face which won’t resonate well with Nik’s mother and son given Ava’s recent laissez-faire attitude about his departure. What gives?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Was Dead

Ava’s confusion will stem from the realization that he isn’t in the stables. This revelation might come just as the police arrive on Spoon Island to cart Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) back to prison where they belong.

Ava will panic when she realizes the PCPD is about to search every bit of the mansion. Will they find evidence of Nikolas’ hostage situation when they stumble upon a Christmas ornament matching the one Esme had on her when she was brought into the hospital? It’s what they don’t find that will be the most interesting. Where is Nikolas’ corpse and who moved it from the stables?

GH Spoilers – Tease the Cassadine Family is Confused

When the police return to tell Ava they’ve found nothing wrong on the rest of the island, she might flippantly ask whether they searched the stables. Her inquiry could come in handy later on, but for now, she’s just going to be stunned that the police somehow overlooked Nikolas’ body. When they leave the island, she will rush to the stables herself to confirm Nikolas’ body is still there — and it won’t be.

When Ava previously told Nik’s family he had left town, she was pretty casual about it, as though she wanted to encourage them to let go of him. In a sudden twist, she’s going to be very on edge about his disappearance, and worried that the police should try to find him. She may even go so far as to tell them he was the person who kept Esme locked up and safe from harm for months, just to get them to open an investigation into his whereabouts. Of course, at the same time, Ava doesn’t necessarily want Nikolas to be found, or he could tell the truth about what she did to him.

General Hospital Spoilers — Austin Gatlin Holt May Know The Truth

Ava might think that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) knows where the body is, and he could, but it’s not a guarantee. If he does know, he’s not going to tell Ava. It’s possible he noted what was going on at the main house and disposed of the body himself, but that is unlikely. Rather, he may have gone there and discovered it was gone, and only came back to the main house when he did to inquire about it with Ava.

But he was interrupted by the chaos going down with Ryan and Heather swinging her hook at him. It’s also possible Mason (Nathanyael Grey) might have been keeping a keen eye on Austin and Ava. He could’ve moved the body just as insurance against them both to get them right where he and the mysterious “boss lady” want them. Time will tell.
