General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Use His Ownership Of Pentonville To Help Free Shawn Butler?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) will find his plan to privatize Pentonville prison will continue to come with surprising challenges. First of all, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has put Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) on notice. Since Cyrus has finally realized that Laura will never allow Cyrus into her life as her brother, he is not going to try anymore. Instead, he has let Laura know that both Laura and her children are no longer under Cyrus’ protection. In fact, he considers them to be enemies. And if Nikolas continues with his plan to purchase the prison, he will come after Nikolas. Nikolas won’t back down, as he has other issues to deal with.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Is Uncomfortable When He Sees Shawn Butler With His Aunt Alexis Davis At Pentonville

As viewers know, Nikolas decided to purchase Pentonville in order to protect his Aunt Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Cyrus was offering protection to Alexis as long as Nikolas found his mother and returned her to Cyrus. Nikolas succeeded but now Cyrus knew he could get Nikolas to do whatever he wants by threatening his Aunt. But Nikolas decided to take power back and that when he decided to privatize the prison and buy it himself. That would keep Cyrus from being about to hold Alexis over his head. Alexis works in the Prison Library while serving out her three-year sentence and getting is still newly sober so she has busied herself by taking on a project.

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Has No Idea That Shawn Butler Is Serving Time For A Crime Actually Committed By Nikolas Cassadine.

While working in the library, Alexis ran into her old flame Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) who has been serving time in the prison for several years now. Many of the other inmates have been released on probation that came in after Shawn. Alexis believes the system is stacked against Shawn and has vowed to use her skills as a former attorney to fight for her ex and help get him released as soon as possible. To make matters even more complicated, Shawn is actually innocent of the crime he has been imprisoned for – which makes Nikolas uncomfortable because he is guilty of that crime himself! The attempted murder of Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) was actually committed by a hitman that Nikolas had hired to silence her. So Nikolas will face his own guilty feelings the more Shawn is around Alexis, but what action will he take?

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Nikolas Cassadine Help Or Hinder Shawn Butler’s Quest To Be Released?

Nikolas won’t want suspicion to fall on him should Shawn finally be released. Shawn has made it clear that he wants to know who really tried to kill Hayden and why. But since Hayden is still missing, Nikolas won’t believe there is anything tying him to that crime since it’s been several years now since the incident occurred. It still seems likely that Nikolas won’t try to keep Shawn in prison any longer. He knows Alexis’s sobriety will hinder on being success and staying busy and helping to free Shawn will fit that bill. But what will happen if Hayden once again shows her face in Port Charles? She is aware of Nikolas’ guilt and given his treatment of her while they were searching for the codicil, she might very well tell Shawn that he is serving time for a crime committed by the new owner of Pentonville!
