Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Right And Wrong

Victoria is right about Billy. He did love her completely. He cares about their children. Plus, Billy’s erratic nature is far from suppressed.

She’s also wrong about Billy, meaning that her opinion of him isn’t the definitive word. Her mistake is believing that the connection they have and his interactions, which are specifically related to her, is the same as all other people. That’s false on its face, but Victoria can’t see that because of her personal feelings.

Might Billy and Lily’s relationship end at any point? Sure, but no matter how long BiLily persists Victoria’s hunch wouldn’t have produced the future. She’s not in control of Billy and that new reality is confounding to her.

Lily pushed Billy off when he initially implied that there might be a new spark between them. Time, proximity, and Billy’s appeal allowed this hopeful couple to form.

It is fair for Lily to pump the emotional breaks on Billy’s move-in plans. She may need more time to determine if that major decision is best for her life. The difference between BiLily and Villy is that Lily doesn’t seek to fully control Billy.

The most important couple’s difference involves Lily not making decisions purely based on the type of deep past Victoria has with the man who remains the love of her life. Billy hasn’t become that in Lily’s heart yet, as Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) still retains that historical place.
