General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Blabs Willow’s Affair That Never Happened — And Loses Sonny, Who Loses Michael

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) first caught a glimpse of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) in a close embrace, she paused long enough to stare and otherwise shirked it off as nothing. But as the same kind of warm embrace seemed to keep popping up in her peripheral vision, Nina became a little too interested in the private affairs of her grandson’s mother. Should she fail to contain her excitement to blow the lid off of what she thinks is a poorly kept secret, she may pay a price far steeper than she ever imagined.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Real Truth Comes Out
In order to explain away her late hours at the hospital and why Nina thinks Willow and T.J. are having an affair, Willow will have to reveal to Michael that she has been keeping a secret from him, and T.J. does know about it. When Willow tells Michael the truth, it’s going to hit him from multiple sides. Understandably, Willow would expect that Michael would be concerned for her and the baby’s health, but he’s also going to be concerned for the health of his marriage.
How can they go on and bring this baby into a happy home when their trust is so broken? Michael will begin to doubt his relationship with Willow, and Willow will shift the blame for that onto Nina, as much as she logically knows it’s her own fault.
GH Spoilers – Indicates Michael Retaliates
In the time that Willow has known Michael, he’s gone from being a gentle soul she could grieve with to the son of a mobster who is more like his father than he cares to admit. When Michael reacts to Willow’s news lacking empathy and is focused more on who she shared her cancer diagnosis with than the fact that she has cancer, Willow will be stunned at his empty response. Further, Michael won’t just blame Willow, but Nina, too. This won’t be the kind of support Willow is seeking, and she may continue to look for such in T.J.’s arms instead. Michael certainly won’t be ordering a hit on Willow as his father might, but we won’t be surprised if he starts plotting how to gain custody after the baby is born. Michael’s growing anger toward Nina’s inability to stay out of his life just might lead his dad to reevaluate who he spends his time with, too.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos May Take a Break From Nina Reeves
Sonny has been trying desperately to make amends with his eldest son and to no avail. When his girlfriend, Nina, makes a choice that further hinders Michael and Willow’s happiness, Sonny will take it upon himself to address what’s really going on. While he’s certain to offer his support to Willow whether Michael wants her to have it or not, he may also back away from Nina and take some time to cool off and figure out whether he still wants to chase what they had in Nixon Falls.
Eventually, the truth is also going to come out that Willow is Nina’s daughter, and it won’t be easy for these two to find their way to a mother-daughter relationship after all the damage has been done. Nina is annoying enough being involved with Sonny, now sticking her nose in a situation she isn’t even sure about is even more agitating. Just how long will Nina be center stage and be placed back where she belongs – running her business and keeping up with family. Nina was a much more acceptable character before the NF story line and the Sonny character is being destroyed. Being put in Sonny’s orbit has made her seem to be more justified in everything she does and it just gets worse daily.
I totally agree. It’s as if Nina has been empowered and emboldened since she managed to split up Carly and Sonny ans also step into buy 1/2 of the Metro Court.
I used to be able to tolerate her, notice I say “tolerate” because a I’ve always found her to be whiny, as well as always playing the victim card.
Now I absolutely despise her and won’t even watch any scenes with her and/or Sonny. I used to love Sonny, have for years and now I can’t stand him either. It’s a shame that they’ve destroyed the Sonny character like they have. MB could leave GH and as things stand now I wouldn’t even care or miss him.
I stopped watching Nina’s escapades since Nixon Falls. What she did is unforgiveable. Now I might stop and see how Joss and Cam are doing, their characters have had to go thru some horrid conditions after the Esme tape. Nina has to go! THis Nina does not have the same zest for life, that this one has shown. She’s boring and whiney as you said!
If blabbing what she doesn’t know for fact causes Sonny to see her in a different light and finally decide to evaluate his relationship with her it is worth the blab in many ways. Just don’t want Nina’s suggested affair to become reality in any way as men/women can have a platonic relationship. TJ/Molly are apparently doing fine even tough neither is seen on a regular basis, if it’s not broken don’t try and fix it. To have Michael treat Willow in this fashion is also out of character as his only thought in life is to get revenge against Sonny for leaving his mother and being involved with Nina which his mother has apparently forgotten if not forgiven. If the object of his anger (Nina) with Sonny hadn’t showed up the other day, I do believe Sonny’s pleas for peace between the two would have been put on a different track as Michael did call Sonny Dad which he hasn’t done for so long one may forget they were related.
Again….lol….I agree with you. It was as if Sonny was breaking through with Michael. But it was also the first time that Sonny actually was putting forth an effort to reconcile with Michael. But of course…..in walks Nina and everything changed immediately/. Sonny should have told Nina to go away and let them have their moment speaking.
Imo if Sonny really does want to reconcile with Michael he needs to decide if Nina is more importent than his son. So far on several occasions Sonny outright sided with Nina against his own family. And his role and testimony in the court hearings were a slap in the face to his family. Sonny was very quick to turn his back on his wife and children which was something sooooooo out of character for the Sonny we’ve known and loved for a couple of decades.
So sick of GH always tarnishing Nina…Carly needs to go down ,a big harsh slap down,harsh consequences for her dirty deeds revenge,liar to Drew,,hypocrite,self centered selfish all about her..Over the many years of watching GH Carly haas been the most disgusting person that we continually have to put up with..She needs to face harsh consequences…
Hahaha….tarnishing Nina. oK…whatever, but I’m not sure what show you’ve been watching. Psycho Nina has yet to EVER have any consequences for her abhorrent behavior!!

And your continues hate on Carly is getting very very old. Carly hasn’t done anything in forever to hurt anybody like Nina has. But Nina will eventually get what’s coming to her.

Question when did Dante become younger than Michael ??? In the article the writer refers to Michael as Sonny’s first born child…
I hope that it somehow turns out that Nina is not Willow’s mom. I always hoped Sasha would be her daughter! But if Nina turns out to be the only one who can save Willow then so be it! Nina carrying gossip about TJ and Willow should be the last straw for her!! I hope she gets dumped by Sonny and Michael both and never gets to see the new baby (if it gets to live) OR Wiley! I used to like Nina, but she has gotten on my last nerve!

She did not shirk it off as nothing because she confronted and then even went on to attack Willow anout her imaginary affair. Then even attempted to confront TJ about it.
Of course Nina, being the home-wrecker that SHE is, would automatically accuse someone else of what she herself is guilty of. But isn’t that always the case?!?! Hopefully this will blow up in Nina’s face. It’s about time she feels some consequences for her actions. And maybe Sonny will finally start to see Nina for who and what she is. Sonny needs to stop and remember what Nina has done to him as well as Ava in the past.
I can understand Michael feeling hurt and betrayed as well as angry at first when he finds out that Willow has been hiding her cancer from him. I can’t think of a legitimate reason for her not to have told him and turned to him for support. However I hope he doesn’t go scorched earth over it. Hopefully he’ll lick his wounds when pick himself back up and support Willow.
I somehow get the feeling that will not be the case. That’s just not how these writers think. They are likely going to blow it all way out of proportion so they can have ANOTHER couple split up and far from happy!!
Nina only thinks of Nina. If Willow finds out that she’s Ninas daughter I’d show Nina the door and tell her not to come back. Michael is just being A butt. He’s got his priorities messed up.
I fast forward when Nina is on, sadly we only get 30 minutes of actual GH with all the commercials but she makes me gag. Writers keep pushing her down our throats, many of us are disgusted and sick of her being on so often. I’m on several GH groups on FB and the majority of members absolutely hate her and want her gone, me too. We keep hoping the Hook will get rid of her. This isn’t about Carly and Sonny, Nina just isn’t likeable. When Michelle Stafford played the part she was funny, goofy and you couldn’t help but feel sorry for her horrible history. Cynthia Watros has destroyed the character, maybe the writers but Watros is not likeable.
Michael is so involved with taking Sonny down that HE does not see Willow is suffering. He is never there for her and I would leave him to find another safe haven with caring loving people around me. Michael only sees what he wants to and it is not always right! Grow up Michael, stop hating Sonny so much that you are destroying the one person who truly loves you. If only Willow knew what you were up to then her hiding the cancer from you wouldn’t be so bad. These are her decisions not Michael’s to make!!!!!!
