General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that fans should always expect the unexpected where the land of Port Charles is concerned. During the Thursday, March 21 episode, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) stopped by the Invader to see Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and offer her old job back at Crimson.

Fans on social media picked up a very different vibe between the two this week. Drew seemed a lot calmer in this interaction with Nina than in the past, and their banter seemed on the cusp of flirting. So, could these two be heading toward a romance?

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina & Drew Move On From Their Broken Relationships

GH spoilers suggest now that Drew and Nina are single, a relationship could be in the cards. While Drew seems ready to move on from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Nina still harbors some feelings for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but she is slowly realizing that her marriage is done. It’ll take some time for Reeves to move forward with her life, but she’s getting there.

Soap couples often start at opposite ends of the fence, only to gravitate toward each other. If Nina decides to head back to Crimson, which she likely will, this means that she and Drew will be working closely together once again.

Their current animosity could slowly turn into sexual tension, and with stress running high when it comes to running a top magazine, they could let emotions get the better of them.

GH Spoilers – The Carly Spencer Factor

Considering that Nina is Carly’s nemesis and Drew is her ex, it’s highly possible that if and when Dina locks lips for the first time, Ms. Spencer could catch them in the act.

Of course, she’d explode with anger and make it all about herself – Carly will believe Nina wants Drew as a form of revenge, and Drew kissing Nina will also be a way for him to “get back” at her for prioritizing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) over him. Either way, she’ll feel betrayed by Drew.

But that won’t be the case if Drew and Nina end up hooking up. Nina is the last person Drew would want for a relationship and vice versa; however, as soap fans have learned in the past, you can’t always help who you fall in love with, right?
