General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Worries Her Secret Will Come Out When Sonny Digs Into the SEC Report

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a man on a mission. He’s determined to find out who tipped off the SEC and put his ex-wife, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), in the hot seat. Thankfully, he knows just the legal eagle to turn to in times of trouble: Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). But as Sonny delves deeper into the mystery, it seems that there’s more to the story than he previously thought.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be in a complete frenzy because she’s the culprit, and even though it seems Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is the one to blame, Sonny won’t rest until he has the proof in hand. Could this be the beginning of the end of Nina and Sonny? Some fans are hoping so.

General Hospital Spoilers — Tracy Quartermaine Gives Drew A Pass

It’s a game of he-said-she-said as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) fiercely stands by her son while lapping up the hostile commentary from everyone blaming him for reporting Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC — a move she claims was wise. But with a looming threat of Nina’s possible involvement in the tip-off, things could get bleak for her, fast!

Meanwhile, Drew has returned to town only to find himself at the center of this investigation which could jeopardize his future. He wasted no time in confronting his cousin and delivering a swift punch to his face — a move he’ll come to regret.

When Tracy buttered Drew up in hopes of learning what he had planned, it didn’t work. When Sonny hears that Tracy had any interest, it just might send him her way. Oof — he is the last person she wants to see!

GH Spoilers – Say Drew Cain And Sonny Battle It Out

Drew will go into protective mode over Carly — no surprise there, but Sonny just might take issue with that. This is his territory now.

Drew wasn’t around when Carly needed him the most, and thus, the mob master swooped in. Now, he just might want Drew to stay out of his way and he cleans up this mess.

After calming down, Drew will begin to wonder if Ned is actually behind any of this. By the time Tracy’s done spinning her story, all signs will point to Nina — who isn’t going to feel the same kind of support and heroic intervention from Sonny that he blessed his ex with.

As Nina takes note that Sonny is far more concerned with how Carly is holding up than he is that Tracy is putting a target on his girlfriend’s back, she might start to get pretty paranoid that Sonny is doubting her innocence.

Why wouldn’t he? All it’ll take is Tracy linking the SEC report to Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) for Sonny to put two and two together about what went down that day while he was at Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding.
