General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, January 15-Friday, January 19, 2024, tease secrets, sadness, scares, and sons and fathers.

Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) reveals a secret, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is sad, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is scared, and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) encounters his father.

General Hospital Spoilers: Secrets

Nina appears to be at GH as she reveals a secret to Carly and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). She explains the reason that her SEC whistleblower secret was kept so long was because Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) knew and didn’t say anything.

Carly looks skeptical and angry while Willow looks shocked; but is Nina trying to say Michael knew even longer than right after she and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) got married?

Michael had found out the truth while they were all in Puerto Rico for Sonny and Nina’s wedding just a few months ago. Also this week, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael will face off.

GH Spoilers: Sadness

Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) look sad as they come together to the Quartermaine mansion with Michael and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) at the door.

Carly has just buried her mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and it’s been a sad and emotional week for all.

They’ll continue to lean on each other as they navigate through the funeral’s aftermath, as all the other situations affecting them compound.

Also of a concern to Carly are the changes she’s been seeing in Drew, which she’ll talk over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) later. Later in the week Drew makes a big business decision.

General Hospital Spoilers: Scares

At the Port Charles courthouse, Esme looks scared as she stands at the defendant’s counsel table as the judge calls her up, Attorney Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) by her side.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is also in the courtroom, sitting a row or so behind her, looking very worried, but also stern as the judge asks how Esme pleads.

Will she plead guilty to breaking into Wyndemere, or will she revert to the old Esme and try to lie her way out of it?

She was truthful when she was being questioned at the Port Charles Police Department but saw the truth did not serve her well. Ava Jerome (Maura West) wouldn’t drop the breaking and entering charges even when Laura asked her too prior to court.

GH Spoilers: Sons And Fathers

Meanwhile, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) has shown up at the Collins house after telling Ava he was leaving town again because of the charges he faces.

The charges are regarding his keeping Esme captive in the north tower of Wyndemere the majority of her pregnancy.

But when Ava told him Esme is in jail and her hearing was today, he headed to the Collins house knowing Laura would be in court with Esme.

Spencer answers the door and son and father face each other for the first time in over a year. Spencer looks shocked as Nikolas says “Hello Spencer”.
