General Hospital spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is holding a trump card; someone will be in danger if something happens to him-but who will carry out the threat in upcoming episodes of General Hospital?

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Peter August’s Trump Card Might Be A Person

General Hospital viewers will recall that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) joined forces with Peter August recently, but that was more of a quid pro quo – Cyrus would do something for Peter if Peter did something for Cyrus. It was the same type of deal that Cyrus and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) made in a recent episode of General Hospital. But Cyrus’ deal with Peter did not involve any type of revenge if something happened to Peter – although it would if something happened to Cyrus’ still missing mother, perhaps. Cyrus in no way protected any type of protection for Peter’s life, only to make sure he didn’t face charges for Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murder.

So we can safely say that although Peter’s trump card may be a person, it will probably not be Cyrus Renault! There could be contacts that Peter has who have not yet been revealed, or it could be someone who is presumed dead, but is really not. Peter has made a couple of calls recently to people who did not turn out to be Cyrus, but who were not revealed in the episodes. We can also safely assume that whoever would avenge Peter’s death would be the one to carry out the revenge on the person or persons in danger. There could be many persons of interest in a Peter August murder, so let’s go through the list of those and then a much shorter list of who could be his avenger!

GH Spoilers And Rumors – Who Are The Likely Suspects Should Something Happen To Peter August?

Peter has many targets on his back. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would be a prime person of interest but so far, he is still in Pentonville Prison awaiting trial. Cyrus himself could take Peter out or assign a hit man to take him out should he not do what Cyrus wants him to do. If she cannot get Jason out of Pentonville, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright ) might even try to take Peter out – although she knows that Cyrus is the main reason that Jason is in Pentonville. However, she does know that Cyrus’ interest is to protect Peter and Cyrus and Peter have a common interest in keeping Jason behind bars and away from them!

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) have expressed interest in doing away with Peter permanently, and Liesl has had a death wish for Peter for quite some time! Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), once they realize it was Peter who killed Franco and not Jason, might put a target on Peter’s back although Cameron is the more likely one to rage against Peter. Elizabeth is already changing her mind about Jason being Franco’s killer!

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) both want to bring Peter to justice, but if it came to a confrontation, if Peter had to go, he’d have to go! Robert Scorpio, (Tristan Rogers) Mac Scorpio, (John J. York) Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) would also fall under that category, as would Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Any or all of them could be in danger should something happen to Peter!

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Who Could Peter August’s Avenger Be?

As to who Peter’s avenger could be, remember Peter has more enemies than friends right now. There are at least two presumed dead who would avenge Peter, one more likely than the other. There is a possibility; however slight, that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) could either be alive or in stasis waiting to be brought back! The more likely of the two presumed dead, however, would be his mother, Alexandra Devane Marick (Finola Hughes)! She likely would have already been on the scene, say at Peter’s failed wedding, if she were able.

If she is alive, she is likely either in a coma or recovering somewhere in a hospital in Europe. Another person might be someone that Alex left instructions to should something happen to her son. It has never been revealed either on the original “All My Children” or on its Prospect Park online reboot whether Alex and Dimitri Marick (Michael Nader) had any children during their marriage, but many fans who watched both the “All My Children” shows and General Hospital wondered why on the letter that Dimitri Marick sent Peter there was a roman number five after his name. Nothing in the “All My Children” character history indicates Dimitri was a number five, however, it could simply be a letter V. Dimitri had a first cousin, never cast as a character named Maxime Von Voynavitch.

If Alex and Dimitri did have a son while in Europe, he could come on General Hospital as a new character to avenge Peter’s death, or he could be a son of Dimitri’s cousin named after him, Dimitri Marick Von Voynavitch, hence the “V”.
