When he questions Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), whom Peter had overheard discussing Anna’s going after Obrecht with his younger brother Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Finn reminded Peter how many times that Anna had risked her life already to protect him and how she only wanted to make amends for her mistake of giving him away as a young woman. Afterward, Peter called Anna and left her a message to stay safe.

It’s easy to see that Peter is starting to understand that Anna was not the cause of his winding up with his late father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), nor had she ever intended giving him up for adoption as abandonment. She didn’t know he was raised by his evil father until after he was dead and Peter’s history was revealed; as far as she had ever known, the midwife made sure he was placed with a good loving family.
Neither had she known that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), whom she knew back then as Ivan Theodore, a man severely afflicted with scoliosis and enamored of Anna, had followed her from spy school to where she had gone to give birth to Peter, later known as Heinrik Faison. Valentin also regrets his past actions which caused Peter to be raised by a monster; it was he who took baby Peter from the loving family that the midwife had placed him with and gave him to his father Cesar! Anna had nothing to do with that!
Peter will have more family ties as time goes on, his half-sister Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) recently had a meeting with him to test the waters, so to speak. Once he proves himself not to be a mini-me of his father, she may be able to warm up to him and give him a chance; he has a half-nephew and half-niece through her, although they live on the opposite coast in Berkley, California.

Then there’s baby James, through his late half-brother Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Soon he will find out he has a half-sister on his father’s side as well when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thibaud) makes an appearance. Who knows? We (and Valentin) may even find out that he too has a grown child he never knew about by Anna’s twin Alex, who he had been involved with! That would give Peter another half-sister or brother and Anna a nephew or niece to get acquainted with!
