General Hospital spoilers have indicated that Jenz Sidwell is back in Port Charles for a good reason. He recently purchased Wyndemere, the Cassadine estate for many years.
There have been hints and suggestions that perhaps Sidwell has some Cassadine connections, or maybe he is even a Cassadine himself? Why did he purchase Wyndemere? Did he want some kind of connection to his family?
General Hospital Spoilers – Jenz Sidwell Has Reasons For Being in Port Charles
It is still unclear why Sidwell has made Port Charles his home, but there are definitely reasons behind it. Is he trying to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard)? Does he want revenge against some of the residents that he has already crossed paths with?
These people include Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattison), Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and possibly others. What exactly is he looking for in Port Charles?
GH Spoilers – Jenz Sidwell Has Family in Port Charles
General Hospital spoilers have suggested that Sidwell could very well be a Cassadine. The question is how is he related to the Cassadines? Could Tony, Mikkos, or Victor Cassadine have another son that no one knows about? Is he the brother or cousin of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)?
There seems to be a hint of a connection between them, and we aren’t talking about a romantic one. But maybe Sidwell is not a Cassadine at all, and connected to them somehow. Could he be connected to Helena (Constance Towers)?
General Hospital Spoilers – Jenz Sidwell Has An Ax to Grind Against the Cassadines
Sidwell could not be a Cassadine at all, but maybe he wants revenge against them? Did one or more of the Cassadines cross him in the past, and now is he back to collect?
If Sidwell isn’t a Cassadine, he certainly could be after what they had. This would explain his purchase of Wyndemere.

I believe Sidwell is actually Stefan Cassadine, and here’s why I think so.
First, he bought Wyndemere, and the way he’s been talking to people like Lucy, Ava, and Alexis about it suggests that it holds a deeper significance for him. Then there’s the issue of Ava’s money—when the Cassadines took it and placed it in a trust fund for Ace, they made Alexis the trustee. Stefan adored Nikolas and Alexis, and no other Cassadine would have ever appointed Alexis as trustee except Stefan or Nikolas. However, if it had been Nikolas, he likely would have chosen Laura as the trustee before Alexis.
Then there are the so-called diamonds Holly stole from him, which could be connected to the Ice Princess and the compound where he once held Lucky. Sidwell acted like he knew who Lucky was, and he could have killed him at any time—but he didn’t. I believe that’s because, despite Lucky being Luke’s son, he’s also Laura’s son and Nikolas’s brother. Stefan truly loved Laura, and I think that connection mattered to him.
I also suspect Holly knew Sidwell was actually Stefan and trusted he wouldn’t harm her or Lucky. She may have entered his orbit while trying to uncover who killed Luke and could have been playing him all along. I think she might eventually reveal this to Robert while they’re away together.
Another clue is the painting Ava sold him. She became particularly intrigued when she realized it was Greek—which, of course, ties into the Cassadines. I believe Sidwell is fixated on Ava because he’s seen her before—where, you ask? At the clinic she went to for treatment, the same clinic they recently sent Michael to. I suspect Stefan was there as well and underwent plastic surgery after his face was mangled the last time we saw him before Luke ‘killed’ him.
This might also explain why Valentin knew about that clinic—because his brother Stefan had been there. Additionally, Stefan’s long-standing hatred for Sonny stems from their complicated history, much of which involved Nikolas.
And then there’s Alexis—Sidwell looks right through her, almost as if he’s avoiding something. She, on the other hand, seems to sense something familiar about him. And let’s not forget the way he treats Kristina, who would be his niece. There’s a certain dynamic there that feels like more than just a passing acquaintance.
Call me crazy, but I think this theory makes a lot of sense. Since we know Stephen Nichols will never return to the role, if Stefan Cassadine were to come back, a recast would be necessary.”
