General Hospital Preview Fri, May 8: Fierce Warning, Dante & Liz Connect, Jack’s Demand

General Hospital spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for Friday, May 9, 2026. It shows there is a fierce warning.

Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) opens up to Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

Ric Lansing’s Deal

Let’s start off with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Fans know that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) thinks Ric is up to no good.

However, there seems to be a big misunderstanding here.

Unfortunately, it seems like Sonny will act on his assumptions and realize he was wrong later. Meanwhile, Ric and Ava strike an art deal.

Sonny Corinthos’ Revenge

As for Sonny, he will summon Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean). The mob boss will want Ethan to take some kind of action. He warns that once the wheel starts turning, there is no stopping it.

That sounds like that could be a big problem when Sonny realizes what Ric’s “deal” with Ava really is about!

Dante Falconeri Confides

General Hospital spoilers reveal the preview clip also features Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). The man will open up to Liz about Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting. While Dante knows everyone is lying to him, he doesn’t know what about or why. 

Liz might recall that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) had an injured hand. However, will she say something, or keep quiet?

Over with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), she will face more pressure.

Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) will insist that Lulu needs to send Rocco away tonight!

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) freaks out over Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) calling Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). 

There is also Jack interrogating Nina. The man wants some intel on Valentin now.

Fans might have noticed that Nina got distracted by a phone call, leaving the syringe on the table.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was eyeing it. So, will Nina forget about it, leaving the door open for Drew to come out of his locked-in syndrome?

There is also the situation with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Carly is assuming that Josslyn is at the WSB.
