General Hospital: Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) confronts Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)General Hospital spoilers and updates tease there will be more Quartermaine squabbles when Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) confronts Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) over business decisions! This will happen in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos And Drew Cain Talked Merger

Previous GH episodes revealed that Michael and Drew had an idea to merge ELQ with Aurora Media to get the company out of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) control. A merger would get Drew’s ELQ shares back from Valentin and put the company under Quartermaine control again, and Ned discussed the possibility with them at Leo Falconeri’s (Easton Rocket Sweda) adoption celebration. The only problem was is that Drew would own most of the company and Ned wanted to know where that leaves him!

Drew said they should just table the discussion until after the party, and they’d discuss everything at a later time. Ned was then distracted with Leo having a meltdown because Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) hadn’t shown up at his party and dropped the subject.

GH Spoilers – Michael Corinthos And Drew Cain Go Forward With Merger Discussion

Michael and Drew will go forward with discussions about the merger, but they’ll forget to bring Ned into the loop, and Ned will hear about it later! Michael and Drew are in a hurry to get the merger completed as Michael has a lot of things on his plate. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) just buried Harmony Miller, (Inga Cadranel) they have Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) court challenge over visitation and there’s just not a lot of time! By the time the news reaches Ned, they’ve already filed the necessary paperwork with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Ned is absolutely livid! He doesn’t even know if he will still have a job in the new merged company or not and he is on the warpath!

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Channels His Mother And Grandfather

Ned could be channeling the worst of both his mother Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and his grandfather Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) by the way he lays into Drew and Michael! He is extremely upset that they went this far on a merger that wasn’t even voted on in an ELQ board meeting and behind his back! It is obvious that Ned feels financially threatened by Drew and Michael’s business decisions and actions taken without including him.

Ned continues to rant in a fine form befitting the son of Tracy Quartermaine denying Edward Quartermaine his heart medication because she couldn’t get her own way! Longtime viewers will recall that Edward faked a heart attack to test Tracy’s loyalty to him and she failed and he renounced her!

GH Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Explains Why They Moved Quickly

Michael tries to explain to Ned, as does Drew, the reason why they moved so quickly to get the paperwork filed – they honestly were not trying to leave Ned out. With Willow’s and Michael’s family issues, an impending court case, and other things taking up his time they just wanted to get a step ahead on the process. Drew reiterates this is not a hostile takeover of ELQ and Ned will be included, but they’ll iron out the details together in time! Board members will be chosen, stocks in the new merged company will be allocated, Ned just needs to be patient and trust them! This will solve the problem of getting out from under Cassadine control and back under Quartermaine control!
