ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that Réal Andrews, who plays Marcus Taggert on the soap, may have given fans a hint as to who’s going to take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)!

Réal posted on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram warning Cyrus to watch his back because Taggert’s coming for him! He also hashtagged phrases such as “GH”, “GH Convention” “ABC General Hospital” and “taggertsback”. This may be something that could happen in Fall sweeps, usually in November.

The GH convention had been postponed to November 2020 and then again to May 2021. But the takedown of Cyrus may still be happening in November, and perhaps this is something that was going to be discussed at the GH Convention before it was postponed again. That may be why Réal hashtagged it. We know that Taggert’s alive – he’s come out of the shadows and rescued by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) down on the pier after being shot.

He also snuck a peek at his daughter, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), and his ex-wife Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) through the window at Kelly’s. Then he laid low again, and has laid low ever since! Jason, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) all know he’s alive. His daughter and ex-wife do not, as most of Port Charles and Cyrus Renault do not know either! The element of surprise will certainly be working for Taggert when he makes his move!

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Is Now Portia Robinson’s Boss

General Hospital viewers will recall that now things have changed. Cyrus, since Jordan was forced to exonerate and get him released from Pentonville is now the head of General Hospital! He has fired two people from the hospital on his own; Chief of Staff Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Nurse Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). He fired them because of their complicity in Wiley Corinthos’ (Erik and Theodore Olson) heart surgery over the objections of his mother, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

Then he hired Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thibaud) back at GH and made her Chief of Staff. Since then, she has reduced Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) hours, put Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) on administrative duty, and cut many other’s jobs and hours. So far, Portia is okay – but only Britt stands between her and Cyrus, and Cyrus is constantly at GH micromanaging! When word gets to Taggert that Cyrus is around Portia all the time – he’ll view it as a threat, and he will take action!

Several months ago, before he was “killed”, he, Sonny, and Jason were working on a takedown plan anyway. Now that Jason and Sonny know he’s alive – even if they may not be sure how to contact him – they may resuscitate that plan. Or, Taggert may simply be hiding in the shadows and jump out of them at an appropriate time!
