Corrie spoilers reveal that when Eileen meets her son, he explains why everyone has to think he is dead. Then, he asks her to identify the next body as being him. She is horrified and disgusted by the thought of it but knows Todd is in serious danger. It just so happens that Eileen has been asked to go look at a corpse matching Todd’s description.

She worries and panics about what will happen if the gangsters find Todd and kill him. As she goes through all the possibilities and how to solve this problem, she comes up with an idea.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Eileen decides that the best way to convince everyone that Todd’s dead is by having a funeral. She goes all out to make it as convincing as possible. However, has she really thought this through? If she doesn’t identify a body as Todd, then how does she explain having a funeral? Will she tell everyone that she’s convinced her son is deceased and the “funeral” is her way of accepting it?

Even though Eileen has the best intentions, there is just too much that can go wrong with this idea. Gangsters aren’t just going to accept that Todd is dead unless they have proof or see it for themselves.

So, while this scheme sounds good when one thinks about it, how will she convince these villains of Todd’s “death?” What if someone finds out that it is just an elaborate scheme? Could they end up targeting both Todd and Eileen? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this story develops over the next few weeks.
