General Hospital spoilers confirm that just as suddenly as Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) reappeared, she made her exit just as quickly. The character came back to Port Charles in July 2019 and as fans saw last week, she was forced to leave town. During an interview, the actress discussed Hayden’s exit, ‘Fayden’ fans, her relationship with her on-screen daughter and if she would ever come back to the ABC soap opera.

GH spoilers from the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal the main factor that led to Budig agreeing to return to the ABC soap opera. It was due to the opportunity to work once again with Michael Easton, who plays Dr. Hamilton Finn.

GH Spoilers: Working with Jophielle Love

Fans have fallen in love with Finn and Hayden’s daughter, Violet Finn. The little girl is portrayed by Jophielle Love. Not only do viewers adore the child, but so does the cast and crew, especially Rebecca. The actress only spoke positively about Jophielle, calling her a “really special little person.” She also commented on how refreshing it was to have such an easy and sweet child to work with.

General Hospital Spoilers – ‘Fayden’ Fans and Family Dynamic

General Hospital spoilers tease that Budig was really nervous about coming back. She didn’t know how viewers would react, especially with her keeping Violet from Finn. However, fans were positive and gave Hayden a warm welcome. This eased her fears.

As for “Fayden” fans and the family dynamic, she had this to say:

“… it really brought out another aspect of their characters that we hadn’t seen before. It made me want more! It made me see why Hayden would love Finn even more, seeing him with Violet and seeing his love for their child.”

GH Spoilers: Could Hayden Barnes Come Back?

It isn’t known if Hayden will ever return to Port Charles. However, Rebecca is completely open to come back if the opportunity arises.

      obbie67o work out. They had forgotten about Anna and finn. So hayden should of been paired with Jax as a option, she could of stayed in PC.

      Hayden should absolutely be brought back and become a cast regular!! GH continues to ignore the popularity of Finn and Hayden and now with Violet introduced the story is incomplete without Hayden in PC to create the drama and conflict of feelings for Finn-Rebecca Budig belongs in daytime and her character brings out the best in Finn-it’s clearly obvious when they’re together-and probably why GH refused to write for Finn and Hayden to protect the Fanna pairing which lacks the appeal and sizzle of Fayden-why an EP would refuse to recognize the on screen connection and fan appeal of Fayden and not want a talent like Rebecca In the cast is the biggest misstep this show continues to make-I hope I’m wrong but I highly doubt Rebecca is coming back given the shoddy writing while she was there and GH not willing to offer a contract-GH’s Loss For Sure….

      I really liked Hayden with the Dr. I have not been a big fan of Hayden and finally like this pairing and their daughter.
