General Hospital Spoilers: Reese Marshall Is Back And Has Her Eye On Sonny

General Hospital spoilers reveals When Reese Marshall (Kari Wuhrer)l “died” the first time in a car crash in Jacksonville, Florida, it scarred Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in ways she never imagined. She has only just made her way back to her hometown — by complete accident — and made peace with the past she ran screaming from. But Reese Marshall didn’t die in that car accident as Carly watched from a distance. In fact, she showed up in Port Charles years later with a new face that had been reconstructed post-accident. The story seems to have changed in the present day, as though to erase history. Which way will it go now?

General Hospital Spoilers — Reese Marsall Meets Sonny Corintos — Again 

When Reese came to Port Charles in February of 2005, it was as an investigator for the FBI who was sent in to allegedly work on resolving the kidnapping of Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth). At the same time, John Durant (Corbin Bernsen) — a federal prosecutor and Carly’s birth father — thought this was the best angle for him to get an agent into the private world of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to finally collect information on him and lock him up. Of course, Reese did what all women eventually do when sent to help Sonny. She fell for him. In a matter of months, the truth came out about Reese and that she was really Carly’s childhood friend-turned-nemesis Carly Roberts. Just a few months later, Reese died tragically after succumbing to injuries sustained in a train accident.

GH Spoilers – Tease This Is Her First Time In PC

Rumor has it Reese is headed back to Port Charles, but this time the storyline picks up as though she never came to the New York metropolis in 2005. Are we looking at a Reese and Sonny reboot? If so, word on the street is that the fans are here for it. We could only hope Kari Wuhrer would reprise the role, but conflicts of interest surrounding the terms of her release back in 2006 may prevent that from happening. Nonetheless, fans are excited to see what could transpire if Reese found her way into Sonny’s orbit today. Would she pull him away from Nina? Perhaps. Could she keep him though?

We all know what happens when a new woman comes into Sonny’s circle. Carly never stays away for too long, and this time around it will have been just long enough for her wounds to heal from the way Sonny treated her and his children upon his return from Nixon Falls.

Sonny has also had time to realize the love he thought existed between himself and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) just doesn’t hold a candle to the passion he and Carly once shared. Carly will be hot on Reese’s tail when she comes to town, knowing she may be out for revenge and circling around the people Carly loves most. When Reese makes a move that turns Sonny’s head away from Nina, it’s also going to turn Carly back in their direction. Will Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) be left standing alone?
