General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is still in quite a bit of trouble. Her custody battle with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) for their daughter Avery Corinthos (Ava & Grace Scarola) is rapidly approaching. And Ava is still dealing with criminal charges stemming from the accident at the Metro Court.
As viewers know, Ava was in an altercation with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) when Kristina recoiled from Ava’s touch and crashed through her window, falling several stories down into the Metro Court pool.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Didn’t Purposely Push Kristina Corinthos-Davis
Kristina survived, but the baby she was carrying did not. Ava is facing criminal charges even though the incident was truly an accident. Ava was also forced by FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) to lie to authorities that Kristina was the aggressor and went to Ava’s room specifically to kill her.
Now that Cates is dead, Ava has rescinded those charges but the ones against her still remain. Up until recently, Ava was confident that her attorney Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) would be able to win both the custody case and criminal charges as well.
GH Spoilers – Scott Baldwin Has Disappeared!
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. it’s not completely clear if Scott left Port Charles of his own accord or was forced to go into hiding. Either way, he’s no longer around to be Ava’s lawyer so she had been scrambling to find an attorney.
Luckily, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) came to her rescue and convinced Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to take on Ava’s case. Ric was reluctant at first since he was once Kristina’s stepfather and is Sonny’s brother.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ric Lansing And Sonny Corinthos Have A Heated Relationship
Ric and Sonny have never been on the greatest of term, so Ric will take pleasure in helping Ava get custody of Avery. If Sonny is convicted of the murder of John Cates, then it will be that much easier for Ava to win the custody battle.
As far as the criminal charges go, Ric is a very good attorney and should be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Ava is innocent of purposely trying to harm Kristina or the unborn baby.
Ava may be quite impressed with Ric and the two could end in some sort of relationship, even if its just a physical one.
GH Spoilers – What Do You think?
Who should have custody of Avery? What exactly happened to Scott? Will Ava and Ric become lovers after he wins her case? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
