General Hospital Spoilers: Ric Senses Something Is Off With Sonny, But Does He Know More Than He’s Letting On?

General Hospital Spoilers report Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) didn’t hold back in telling Ava Jerome (Maura West) just how he felt about his half-brother’s demeanor when they confronted him at Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) office.

Ava was hopeful that Sonny would concede to her demands on their custody arrangement, but the mob boss wasn’t having it. That being said, he said very little. The stress of the exchange clearly had an effect on Sonny, and from the outside looking in, it seemed like he managed to keep his mouth shut.

But Ric and Ava both know that’s not like him. Ric implied he knew his sibling well enough to know that he wasn’t okay, but could it be that he has insider knowledge of what Sonny is going through because he’s the one putting him through it?

General Hospital Spoilers — Something Isn’t Right

The look on Sonny’s face when Ava made her demands — or rather, when Ric spoke for her — said it all.

Ric may have taken Ava by surprise when he noted that something was off with Sonny, but she seemed to write it off, likely because she knows their history.

Still, Ric behaved as though he couldn’t put his finger on it but trusted his gut that Sonny wasn’t himself.

So far, we’ve seen little more discussion of that, but we trust that Ava has forgotten the matter altogether, and that could come back to bite her.

GH Spoilers Leak Sonny’s Aching Heart

For weeks, Sonny has been hiding the truth from everyone he loves, except for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

He felt obligated to fill Jason in when the mob enforcer showed up to find Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) in Sonny’s penthouse apartment for a secret check-up.

Otherwise, Sonny doesn’t want to worry his children; they’re already stressed by Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) accident.

But could it be that Sonny’s heart issues are not organic. Is it possible that he’s being poisoned once again — but this time, by his own brother?

General Hospital Spoilers — Joke’s on Ava

While it seems all too coincidental that the son is suffering from problems with his ticker while Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is running around causing drug-induced heart attacks, many fans don’t think Cyrus is behind Sonny’s health problems.

Might Ric have found a way to inflict this harm on his brother? If that’s the case, it could be the epic and ultimate takedown he’s been chasing for decades.

As for Ava — who was already problematic last year in letting Sonny take his meds when she knew they were placebos, she could end up blamed for Ric’s medical mess.
