General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin’s Past Catches Up

GH fans know that Brando’s had a sketchy past. First, he shows up in Port Charles just in time to save Carly Corinthos’s (Laura Wright) life. Secondly, Brando does whatever it takes to keep himself off Sonny’s radar … acting as if he just wants to be left alone in his garage, live his life, and be normal.

Seemingly a hero, some believe that Brando’s actions were set-up so that he could get close to Sonny. Whether that set-up was devised by a federal agency looking to gather intelligence on Sonny by some federal agency or by the devious Cyrus Renault has been a question since Brando appeared on General Hospital.

Now, rumors are swirling that when General Hospital’s new episodes start to air, Brando is going to be meeting with Cyrus Renault. If that’s true, then it looks like GH fans just might receive the answer asked in the question above.

Gh Spoilers – The Cyrus Renault Connection

There is a theory going around that Cyrus met Brando in prison, or that perhaps Brando had worked for Cyrus at some point before going to prison. Either way, if there is a connection between Cyrus and Brando, it could spell trouble for Sonny Corinthos. In fact, Brando could be the ace up Cyrus’s sleeve. If the criminal mastermind wanted to take Sonny out of the picture entirely, he doesn’t even have to hire the equivalent of a Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). If Brando is his sleeper agent, all Cyrus really would need to do is snap his fingers.

Brando would then be revealed as an assassin, put in place as a contingency by Cyrus Renault. This might be seen as brilliant and par for the course considering the fact that Cyrus has been shown to be a master of strategy over and again.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin’s Still a Good Guy

Now for those who hate the idea that Brando’s really an evil villain, well … there’s an alternative idea at play. Like Lorraine “Harmony” Miller (Inga Cadranel), Brando might actually be a victim of Cyrus’s knack for blackmailing people into doing his bidding. It’s possible that Cyrus has some kind of leverage that he plans to utilize against Brando in order to force him into taking action against Sonny Corinthos.

If that’s that case, then it’s also possible that Brando might double-cross Cyrus and admit his situation to Sonny. This might go far in cementing Sonny’s ability to trust Brando since the latter would have admitted something pretty damning concerning himself that might backfire dramatically. If Sonny was some other mobster, heck … he might just hedge his bets and kill Brando then and there.

Since Sonny isn’t that kind of Mafioso, however, GH viewers would probably see Sonny behave not only in a merciful fashion toward Brando, but he might figure out a way to bring Brando under his wing and also use him against Cyrus at the same time!
