General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may have Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) body exhumed to check for a DNA match in a future episode of General Hospital. The big question is, will she find out that it’s not Nelle who she buried and Nelle could be alive somewhere?
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Now Knows That Nelle Benson Was Her Daughter
General Hospital viewers will remember that Nina now knows that Nelle was her daughter. In recent episodes, Nina discovered the other half of the split heart pendant around Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) neck as she watched her live interview with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) from the Crimson Magazine offices. She was very upset and headed down to the Metro Court Restaurant where it was being broadcast from, with Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) right behind her.
As Jax, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) looked on, GH spoilers show Sasha explained to Nina that wardrobe put the necklace on her and she didn’t look at it because she was on the air. She didn’t know where it came from and then Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) showed up with Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) in tow. Avery answered the question, and told Nina she found it when her mother took her to stay overnight at a cabin.
Michael took Avery home and then returned, and explained it was the Corinthos cabin and after Nina asked more questions verified that Nelle had been hiding out there the night that she kidnapped Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theodore Olson). This was also the night that Nelle fell over the cliff and Carly was unable to pull her up to safety. Later, after a body was found that was positively identified – by Pennsylvania state troopers – as Nelle, and brought back to Port Charles, Nina gave her a proper burial.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves May Want To Be Sure Her Daughter Was Nelle Benson And Have The Body Exhumed For DNA Matching
General Hospital viewers will remember that Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was intending to view what was presumed to be Nelle’s body in the morgue at General Hospital. He wanted to make sure it was really her, but the scene was never shown. The next time viewers saw him he was at a bar having a drink. To be sure, a corpse that has washed up after being in water for several weeks is going to be a tough sight for even a police detective to look at, let alone examine.
He would have wanted to look to see if her scar from having a kidney removed was there, and by that time there may have been too much decomposition to tell. General Hospital recaps and spoilers show the Pennsylvania state troopers may have gone by a driver’s license found in the clothing on the body. But Nelle was a strong swimmer, and unless she was knocked unconscious and drowned, she could have made it out of the river. There’s a strong possibility that she killed another woman and switched clothing with her. Or, she could be in a similar state as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and be somewhere with amnesia or in a coma.

Nina may want a DNA match done to be absolutely sure that Nelle was her daughter and didn’t get the necklace somewhere else. Carly knows Nelle had it as a child but it’s anyone’s guess if she will tell or not. It would be much easier to have Nina’s DNA and Wiley’s compared, but GH spoilers hint Nina may decide to have the body exhumed. Viable DNA can be found in the bones many years after a person has died.
General Hospital rumors show Nina could have that done and then find that the DNA is not a match between hers and Nelle’s, and then she may have testing done between herself and Wiley or have both tests done at the same time. If her DNA doesn’t match the body but matches Wiley’s then she still has a lost daughter to find – somewhere!

Yeah! Nelle is alive. There is hope in the world. Hopefully Carly is sent to prison soon.
Carly isn't responsible this time – she just couldn't hold Nelle. Carly may have done some prison worthy thngs over the years, but this time she is innocent.
It is about time a DNA test is done. All viewers know that Nelle is out there somewhere to come back as Ryan does from time to time to cause mayhem and havoc. If Nelle is actually dead would be a real twist to the story – which I don't believe will occur.
Writers better pray that something good will come out of these ppl bc if not I will bring them and this entire show down they lucky I’m not break their neck but each one if them better have something good come out of this if that the way writers choose to go down this road by trying to ppl lives I’m giving u notice all I know is something good better come out if this we going to have a big problem the writers own me that much since some we been waiting 4 or 5 yrs when they bought ppl back so something good better come out or me and these stupid writers will have a big problem not only will I destroy this soap but the writers need to watch their backs never know when I’m coming this just stupid right here
If you watched that scene …you know Carly desperately tried to hold on to Nelle …Carly tried to save her !
Uh, Chase confirmed it was Nelle’s body.
For what!
Soap oh boy is one of the most miserable waste of time Neil is dead leave her there why cmplexicate it more Nellie not Nina's daughter neither is willow so stop trying to write in esme would be a good candidate for daughter not only that Ryan is not her real father get it rightyou keep saying different things and changing them Ryan kill Ana's daughter now he's got one why don't you end this it's making no since
