General Hospital Spoilers: Rumors Of Emma’s Return Swirl, Will She Become Collateral Damage in Anna’s War On Sonny

General Hospital spoilers report Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) is returning to Port Charles soon, and no one will be more delighted than Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

Rumor has it Emma might be spending the summer with her grandparents in New York while her parents — Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) are tangled up in something else.

We’re hoping it’s more along the lines of traveling to serve Doctors Without Borders than it is needing the summer alone to save their marriage.

General Hospital Spoilers — Summertime In The City

Either way, Emma could be shacking up in Port Chuck all summer long. This may lead to some interesting crossover stories with potential young loves.

The fans agree we need more than Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) grief to feed off of.

Anna and Robert are rather caught up in their own melodramas, and it could leave them turning a blind eye to Emma’s safety by default.

GH Spoilers – Tease Times Have Changed

While California certainly has its upside, Emma loves it any time she gets to head back to her mother’s hometown and spend time with her favorite grandparents.

There are plenty of young people in Port Charles these days for Emma to pal around with when she’s not busy grabbing coffee with Robert or girls’ night in with Anna.

Anna is consumed by her new position at the PCPD and bent on taking Sonny Corinthos (Maurice BEnard) down.

We haven’t seen too much of Robert lately, but we can assume he’s been fairly busy with Diane Miller (Carolyn Miller). Will Diane and Emma finally get to spend some time together? That just might tee up well with the storyline that lies ahead.

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna Devane Is About To Set Sonny Corinthos On Fire

Anna hasn’t shared her plans to take Sonny down with Robert just yet — at least not to our knowledge. While we can rest assured that he’ll support her — and be thrilled that she’s on board with this — we can also expect that Anna will push Robert in ways that he’s not a big fan of.

She’s already tasked Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) with prosecuting a case against Sonny should they be able to build one.

Robert may not be keen on that. If he thinks they finally have the ammunition necessary to take Sonny down, it’s going to be hard to convince him not to be the guy who handles that case in court.

GH Spoilers— An Unstable Mobster Goes In For The Kill?

The truth is, Sonny may never make it into the courtroom, and that’s because as soon as he catches wind that Anna and Robert actually have a case mounting against him, he’s going to respond in kind.

The normal and reasonable Sonny may not go to such extreme extents to protect himself, but this Sonny — the guy who’s not being properly medicated — just might go after Robert and Anna’s one mutual weak spot: Emma.

When Sonny is medicated again, he may have to contend with whatever he does to Robin’s daughter. 

Sonny is only going to see red, and he will strike back in whatever way he deems necessary to get Robert and Anna to back down. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
