General Hospital Spoilers: Ryan Sets Up Spencer, He Stays In Jail So Esme Can Focus On Nikolas

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) might try to keep Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) behind Spring Ridge’s walls in upcoming episodes of General Hospital by planting some type of contraband on him!

General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Thinks Spencer Cassadine Is A Distraction For Esme Prince

General Hospital viewers will remember how Esme got those bruises on her wrist, although she is going to frame Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for them, to get back at her and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Ryan became so angry at her distraction over Spencer and his friends, which he had overheard Esme talking about to Spencer about the sex tape which she’s desperately trying to frame Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) over, he scolded her out loud!

Then, after she got into his cell, she had threatened to expose him to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and he grabbed her wrist so hard he could have broken it! General Hospital viewers will recall that a great majority of that scolding was over Esme’s deviation from “the plan” and getting involved with Spencer personally, and not focusing on using him as a means to an end, the end being getting Ava Cassadine (Maura West) back for Ryan!

GH Spoilers – Esme Prince Would Be More Effective Without Spencer Cassadine Distracting Her

It’s no secret to General Hospital viewers that Ryan thinks Esme would be much more effective without Spencer distracting her, but he must remain part of the plan – at least until Ryan gets Ava back! Ryan has gotten Esme apparently convinced that Spencer’s father is the better prize – with her getting cozy and close to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) although at this point it’s obvious Nikolas is acting more like a father to her.

Nikolas acted very protective of Esme after coming across that Carly temper tantrum that he walked in on, where she grabbed Esme’s wrist and shook her, and Nikolas was ready to call the cops! But General Hospital viewers will remember that a close conversation in a General Hospital examining room ended with Nikolas holding her hand-it’s Ryan’s aim for Esme to seduce Nikolas away from Ava. Until that happens, he’ll be keeping an extra close eye on Spencer and Esme when they talk in Spring Ridge!

General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Could Plant Some Contraband To Extend Spencer Cassadine’s Prison Stay

General Hospital viewers know that Ryan could easily find and plant some contraband in order to extend Spencer’s prison stay, and it could be something that would put him in danger of being transferred to Pentonville! But it’s doubtful that Ryan would go to the lengths of planting a gun or something that would get Spencer in serious trouble, because that would limit Ryan’s access to Spencer and to keep an eye on him. Something more of a misdemeanor type of contraband would be better – perhaps a joint or two of marijuana; General Hospital viewers know that pot is legal in many states, but still wouldn’t be allowed in a prison setting, even at Spring Ridge.

General Hospital viewers know that Spencer’s sentence is about to come to an end, and Ryan needs to keep him there long enough for Esme to seduce his father, and Spencer will get a special guest as his sentence is drawing to a close. As Nikolas and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) plan a welcome home, Ryan might turn that into an extended stay at Spring Ridge!
