General Hospital Spoilers: Sam And Dante Enter Uncharted Territory As His First True Love Comes Out Of A Coma

General Hospital Spoilers report Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are arguably as solid as a rock. Nothing has really shaken these two so far, even though they’ve had some ups and downs.

Sam wasn’t thrilled when Dante didn’t exactly take her side in the debate over whether Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) should be in Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) life. She also doesn’t love his profession.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sam McCall’s Commitment To Dante Falconeri Is Commendable

For some reason, Sam loves to settle down with men and later ask them to change who they are to ease her anxiety about potentially losing them. Either way, Sam’s commitment to Dante has stuck even when she’s not happy with him and they don’t see eye to eye.

So it may come as a rather crushing blow when she starts to suspect there is more going on between him and his newly awakened ex than meets the eye.

GH Spoilers — Lulu Falconeri Finds Her Way Back

Overcoming all of the odds stacked against her, Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is about to wake up from the coma that has taken her away from everyone who loves her for the last few years. Dante is included in that amalgam of loved ones.

His love for her didn’t necessarily go away just because she did. It wasn’t her choice to leave him, and thus he had to pick up the pieces of his life and his son’s and move on knowing they may never look Lulu in the eyes again.

Now, he’ll be rewarded for that hard work and he may not know what to do with the good news when he gets the call that Lulu is awake.

General Hospital Spoilers — Leak Sam McCall Sits At Home

We can expect Dante is going to be spending a lot of time at the long-term care facility where Lulu has been stationed since she fell into the coma with no signs of coming out of it anytime soon.

He supported Laura’s decision to keep her on medical support, but it required moving her into the city to get the appropriate care — away from Port Charles.

Will Dante have to spend some long weekends in New York City to bring Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) to see his mother? From where Sam sits, that may feel like she’s already losing a lot of time with Dante as he spends it holed up in Lulu’s hospital room.

Of course, saying anything cross about it won’t be a good look. So she’ll have to keep her insecurity to herself.

GH Spoilers —The Road Ahead Is Paved With Good Intentions

We can also expect that since Laura is already the primary custodial caretaker for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) — and the Mayor of Port Charles — that Dante will step up and do what he can for Lulu to alleviate the responsibilities falling on Laura left and right.

If Lulu can come back to Port Charles soon, she’ll likely still need extensive healthcare to get back on her feet. She’s gone through quite a trauma, too, and waking up realizing how much time she has missed will be another one.

Learning her daughter is missing and her dad is dead won’t help. As Dante tries to straddle the fence to meet Sam’s needs while also caring for Lulu, will he end up finding his way out of his relationship with Sam — even if she’s the one who graciously lets him go?
