General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha Turns To Valentin After Michael Breakup – Crushed Nina Feels Betrayed Again?

ABC General Hospital spoilers and recap suggest that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could be hurt deeply if her former husband, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) ends up developing a relationship with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). GH fans know that this is partially due to the fact that some kind of connection remains between Nina and Valentin even though he hurt her badly in the past.

Many GH fans may be able to identify with the idea that when you share a deep connection with someone, that bond doesn’t entirely disappear even when a divorce happens. There’s almost always something lying underneath the surface, a link that is never quite broken, and some believe that’s exactly the case when it comes to Nina and Valentin.

Of course, some might point to the fact that Nina has a new love interest in Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). However, while it’s clear these two GH characters share an affection for one another and they have a clear physical attraction, some believe that Valentin “gets” Nina in a way that Jax simply does not.

Because of the way that Valentin seems to see into the gray depths of Nina’s soul, there are some GH viewers who believe she still loves him … and indeed ought to go back to him before it’s too late.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin is Intrigued by Sasha

On the other hand, GH fans know that Nina has rebuffed Valentin’s romantic overtures many times since the two of them divorced. From Valentin’s point of view, if Nina doesn’t want him then he’s a free man. Right? Nina might be Valentin’s first preference but if she’s made herself unavailable, then why should he pine away and play Heathcliff to Nina’s Catherine?

Many might feel that Sasha might be the last person Valentin would find of interest considering the fact that he paid her to pretend to be Nina’s daughter at one point. However, there’s the fact that Sasha is quite beautiful and Valentin is a man, after all. It’s irrational to believe that Valentin could completely ignore Sasha’s feminine charms.

Then there is the fact that Valentin sees at least a bit of common ground between him and Sasha. GH viewers might agree that the same sort of combination, beauty mixed with something common between a man and a woman has led to the formation of many relationships.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Can’t Handle the Insult

If the truth were told, Nina’s been dancing on the edge of a return to madness for some time now.

First, viewers have watched as Nina has fallen prey to the wiles of Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), imagining herself in Nelle’s shoes. Nina’s sat pondering and projecting and otherwise allowing her imagination to bring her to a point where she apparently identifies with Nelle despite the fact that she knows all about Nelle’s wicked deeds.

Secondly, Nina has to be considering the “what if” scenario concerning her own long lost daughter. At the moment, everything involving Nelle also seems to involve Nina’s lost child inside Nina’s fevered thoughts.

If Nina sees Valentin begin a relationship with the woman he paid to pretend to be her daughter, after he supposedly went on a search to help Nina find her child, it could push her entirely over the precipice. It’s just too weird. It could just be too much for Nina to handle.

The bottom line? GH viewers could see Nina could be wheeled into a mental institution once more.
