General Hospital Spoilers: Shawn’s Resolve To Find Hayden Barnes’ Shooter Leaves Nikolas Unsettled!

General Hospital Spoilers tease that Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) is officially free. Years ago, Shawn pled guilty to shooting Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), even though he was innocent. But Shawn knew that he was guilty of other crimes, and deserved jail time. But as he realizes now, that means that the person who actually put a hit out on Hayden went free all this time. Hayden did survive, but disappeared a couple years ago under mysterious circumstances. Both the shooting and Hayden’s vanishing act were both set in motion by Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Shawn Butler Has Enlisted Sam McCall To Assist Him In His Investigation!

Shawn knows he needs to stay on the straight and narrow, so his investigation will need to be completely legal. To that end, he has requested Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) use her private investigative skills to assist. Sam agreed to help Shawn, although she has to run it by her Parole Officer. Technically, Sam isn’t supposed to associate with known felons while still on parole, but after changing parole officers about a year ago, the issue hasn’t come up. But Nikolas may use Sam’s parole situation to his advantage. He certainly won’t want Sam helping Shawn!

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Is Very Influential In Port Charles!

As viewers know, Nikolas made a few phone calls the last time that Shawn was up for parole and seemed to have some influence over the Parole Board. If that’s the case, he may very well lean on Sam’s parole officer to forbid her association with Shawn until her parole ends. This may be a setback for Shawn, it wont’ stop him from looking into Hayden’s most recent disappearance. When Nikolas revealed that he was actually alive, Hayden was right beside him, agreeing to help Nikolas find the document that would prove he is the rightful owner of the Cassadine estate.

But Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) threatened Hayden, and Nikolas overheard. Worried that Hayden would talk, Nikolas hired a couple of thugs to scare Hayden enough to leave town. Believing that Valentin would kill her, Hayden disappeared and hasn’t been seen since. Nikolas has claimed that he doesn’t know where Hayden is now, but either way this information would lead Shawn to suspect Nikolas of the original shooting!

General Hosptial Spoilers – Will Shawn Butler Track Down Hayden Barnes?

While it’s possible that Hayden has met with foul play, and that Nikolas did the deed, Shawn will likely decide that finding Hayden, dead or alive, is his best shot at getting to the truth. Perhaps Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will be able to trace Hayden’s last known location, which will be a good place for Shawn to begin his search. But if Nikolas gets wind of Shawn’s plan, he may very well send someone to take care of Shawn as well!
