General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will have suspicions directed at Cassius Faison aka Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) this week on the ABC soap.
The more he watches Cassius play Nathan around Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and James West, (Gary James Fuller) the more he thinks Cassius is a turncoat!
“Nathan West” Is A Cover Identity For Cassius To Be Sidwell And Cullum’s PCPD Plant
It was easy convincing everyone that Cassius was his late twin brother Nathan, but that’s only a cover identity for Cassius to be Sidwell and Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) PCPD plant.
But the more Sidwell observes the henchman interacting with Lulu and especially his nephew James, he realizes he’s leaning TOO much into the Nathan persona.
Sidwell starts to view Cassius’ attachments as possible liabilities-and he includes his sister Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in that group!
Britt is the biggest liability of them all if she doesn’t complete the cold fusion weapon as she’s supposed to.
It’s been Cassius who’s been advocating for Britt to get her Huntington’s meds restocked, and he was the one who convinced her to get back to work on the project.
Sidwell Can Tell That Cassius Is Too Attached
Sidwell can tell that Cassius is too attached, and that attachment comes to the forefront outside Bobbie’s, as he encounters Cassius with James.
James is in uniform for karate lessons, and as he brags about his latest karate moves he’s learned, he sees Cassius looking down like a proud father, and then something else.
As Sidwell bends over to pat the boy on the head, Cassius steps in like a protective father-James is a smart boy, Cassius doesn’t need to act like Sidwell is a threat!
Although Sidwell didn’t raise Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) he had some visits and a photo of him close to James’ age and size, and his late son was on his mind. Sidwell tells James he knows he learned his “deadly move” from his “father!”
Sidwell No Longer Trusts Cassius Because Of His Attachments
Sidwell now no longer trusts Cassius because of his attachments-his attachments could become liabilities, if they haven’t already.
Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) could easily decide to eliminate Britt and assign Cassius to do it-and he’s too attached; he would fail the mission.
Cassius once was a very effective, and deadly, henchman that was faithful to Sidwell and Cullum’s cause, but now he’s getting weak.
A weak henchman is a dangerous henchman, and too many steps close to being a turncoat. Will keeping Cassius instead of eliminating Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) son prove to be a big mistake?
