General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Can Forgive Michael, But Not Dex — Can Joss Save Him?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) guilty heart is about to throw him into the flames. His focus on destroying his dear old dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), has led him down a treacherous path with life-altering consequences. His new bride, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), is fighting for her life against stage four leukemia, but Michael’s obsession with power has taken precedence.

Even his partner in crime, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), can see the destruction looming on the horizon. Michael’s guilt over Willow’s illness has already shifted the course of his life, but he has yet to realize how catastrophic his actions will be. Willow may be fortunate enough to convince Michael that this isn’t the best way forward with his family, but that doesn’t mean Dex won’t finish the job for him and land all of them in hot water.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may have been tough as nails, but even she couldn’t withstand the gut-wrenching betrayal that her ex-husband threw at her. When Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sauntered into Sonny’s life and stole him out from under his family, the whole Corinthos clan was turned on its head. While Carly may have been the one at the epicenter of this tumultuous event, it was her son — Michael — who felt the weight of Sonny’s actions the most. He just couldn’t look at his father the same anymore. However, Willow’s illness has brought about a consistency in Sonny’s supportive side that Michael can’t deny, and he’s going to buckle under pressure from Willow to end this vendetta once and for all.

Just when we think things are going to mellow out, family drama ensues. Michael has been flip flopping on his feelings about his father for months, and Willow’s encouragement to leave it all in the past is going to push him to take that final step. But Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) isn’t going to be thrilled to hear her big brother is backing out of his intended plan. He got Dex into this mess, not he needs to fix it, right? Not so fast. Michael has just a smidgen of other issues that are more important right now than figuring out how to get Dex out of the mob without a hair on his head being harmed. Besides, does Dex even want to get out?

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Heller Storms Ahead

Dex can’t bear to break the news to Joss that he would rather stay in the mob, so he could go rogue and decide the best way to fix this mess is to make it messier. Say what? If he carries out Michael’s plan and intentionally botches it, it might blow up in all of their faces, but it could be a risk he’s willing to take if it means he might hold onto both Joss and his time card with the boss man. If Sonny learns that Michael and Dex were scheming to take him down the whole time, he might be willing to turn his cheek to his son, but Dex certainly won’t be safe. All Dex needs is a clever way to tell Joss he’s stuck and he’ll deal with it. That’s better than confessing he likes the mob life, isn’t it? It might be, until Joss thinks she needs to get her hands dirty to protect Dex from Sonny and potentially unravels his entire plan. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
