General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, July 28, tease that some excitement’s ahead in the ABC soap’s next encore. For starters, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) talks to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” in the park. Joss knows she’s been a bit absent since Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) died, but she’s doing better now. She wants to spend less time writing in her journal and more time having fun with her friends.

When Josslyn proposes a group activity the next day, Cameron explains that he already has ultimate frisbee plans with Trina. However, Trina and Cam act funny about the idea of Joss and Dev coming along. After Cameron and Trina leave, Dev admits to Josslyn that Cam doesn’t know how to act around her. Joss is taken aback when Dev confesses that Cameron likes her.

At the boxing gym, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) pushes Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to get some exercise and start figuring out her future. Alexis suggests that she’s having an identity crisis. If Alexis isn’t a lawyer, then who is she?

After Sam steps away to take a call, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) approaches and chats with Alexis until Sam returns. That brings some awkwardness as Brando finds out Alexis is Sam’s mother. Brando excuses himself, which leaves Alexis ogling him from afar. Alexis can see why Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) slept with Brando!

ABC General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Apologizes To Brando

Once Alexis heads for the steam room, Sam steps over toward Brando and offers an apology for her previous behavior. Sam and Brando agree to start fresh and focus on being civil. Next, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) introduces her new husband in court. After Julian Jerome (William deVry) and a marriage license is handed over, the judge takes a short recess to look over everything.

Outside the courtroom, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) lashes out over Nelle’s bold move. What was Nelle thinking?! Back inside, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) talks to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about Nelle’s terrible choice for a husband. Nevertheless, it’s important for Willow and Michael to stick to the plan.

Carly Corithos (Laura Wright) fills Michael in on the phone call she received from Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), which let Carly know that Nelle knew about the “Millow” marriage. Once court resumes, Diane makes her opening statement and it’s followed by Martin’s. Nelle clutches her half-heart pendant and eventually thinks back to when she blackmailed Julian.

In Nelle’s flashback, she recalls informing Julian that she knows he was in the loop on the baby switch. Nelle also knows about Julian causing the crash that nearly got Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) killed. She suggests that if she goes missing or turns up dead, a sealed envelope will be sent from her lawyer’s office. Julian’s secrets will be exposed to the cops if he doesn’t cooperate, so he agrees to marry Nelle.

General Hospital Spoilers Updates: Molly And TJ Celebrate

At the Metro Court, Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) have a little celebration. They get well wishes on their domestic partnership from Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curts Ashford (Donnell Turner) before Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) pops by the table. He extends his well wishes, too.

After Sonny sends over some Champagne, Jordan steps away under the guise of offering gratitude. She really wants to make it clear that their collaboration is over. Sonny brings up the possibility that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will follow the trail to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but Jordan thinks she’s in control.

Later, Jordan has some girl talk with Molly and offers an apology. Jordan’s sorry for the things she said while TJ was missing and couldn’t imagine her son with anyone else. Meanwhile, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) learns Cyrus is interested in her penthouse. Ava recognizes his name and is too appalled to shake his hand.

Sonny spots Ava with Cyrus, who saunters away to deal with a call. When Sonny snaps at Ava, she fires back about him always thinking the worst of her. Ava makes it clear that she won’t sell her penthouse to Cyrus. After Sonny receives a text about Nelle and Julian’s marriage, Ava wonders if it involves important news. Sonny tells Ava to ask her brother.

Cyrus approaches Ava again to mention the child she shares with Sonny. He’s willing to help Ava deal with Sonny if she’d like, but she rejects the offer. Ava won’t be selling her penthouse to Cyrus and doesn’t want him to talk about her daughter again. Afterward, Cyrus corners Curtis and pushes his buttons.

During a recess for lunch, Diane calls Alexis to fill her in on Julian marrying Nelle. Over with Julian, he gets a reminder from Nelle. Julian agreed to play the role of loving husband, but he’s starting to think some things are worse than death! As Julian goes to get some air, Sonny stops him. He comments on Julian marrying one of the few people he hates more than Julian himself.
