General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Has a Solid Case That Could Warrant Dragging Valentin Back To Town

General Hospital spoilers report Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) now knows that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is responsible for tampering with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bipolar medication.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may have left her under the impression that he was going to give her some time to track Valentin down, for the sake of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) coming back to Port Charles to be with her possibly-dying mother.

But Jason quickly did an about-face and told Sonny the truth — that it was Valentin who was sending him off the rails by having a pharmacist mess with his prescription.

Sonny could take this information right back to Anna and demand that something be done about it, if not straight to the FBI himself just to get under Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) skin, but he could also take matters into his own hands. Which will it be?

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna is Derelict in Her Duties

By sitting on this information and disregarding the crime Jason has just reported to Anna, she is not up to snuff on performing her duties as the Police Commissioner.

She is supposed to serve and protect and instead of even blinking and thinking twice about this crime — which Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had already filled in on before — she’s thinking about Valentin.

Where is he? How can she find him? How can she warn him that he’s been found out so he can stay alive?

Can she get Charlotte back here without anyone finding out where she came from or where her dad is? If Sonny is keen on letting Anna help him, he’s not going to like her approach.

GH Spoilers Hint Cates Won’t Like This One Bit, or Will He?

Of course, Cates has been itching to get his hand cuffs on Valentin, but he was just moments too late after Anna warned him to get out of dodge.

Slipping out of the country never seemed so easy, but Valentin and Charlotte did it in what seemed like five or ten minutes.

With additional reason to bring him back to face his crimes, Cates could put much-needed pressure on the PCPD to force Anna’s hand — or force her out the way while someone else does the job.

Cates may not like that arresting Valentin on this issue would mean doing right by Sonny, but he could still take the capture of the Pikeman figurehead as a win.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Never Needed Their Help

Anna was afraid from the moment that Jason told her what he knows and that he hadn’t yet told Sonny that doing so would ensure Valentin’s death. Accusing her of protecting Valentin, Jason wasn’t quick to believe Anna when she insisted it was all about protecting Charlotte instead.

Sonny is ruthless, and Anna is right. If he gets to Valentin first, he will very likely take him out and no one will ever see him again. Sonny will also have the foresight to know that’s the last thing that Anna wants, both personally and professionally.
