Even Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) seemed to think so. But who could it be? Is it a new enemy, an old enemy, an interloper wanting to take over Sonny’s turf? Sonny has been running his business, but he hasn’t been actively involved in mob business for quite some time.

He hasn’t been to a Five Families meeting in several years. The main threat to Sonny and his businesses was Cassandra Pierce, (Jessica Tuck) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) took care of her permanently!

Somebody stirring up mob trouble couldn’t come at a worse time for Sonny; he has been focused on trying to take care of his rapidly deteriorating father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Sonny is getting ready to make a trip to New York to try to get him in a new medical trial that has had phenomenal success. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is involved trying to clean up the aftermath of Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) death and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) parole with its unfair restrictions, and getting intel on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) for Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)! Sonny is vulnerable – and somebody knows it! For someone trying to muscle in on Sonny’s territory, it’s the perfect time!

General Hospital Spoilers – Somebody Was Asking An Awful Lot Of Questions About Sonny Corinthos’ Business

One wouldn’t think that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), Mike’s cousin from Connecticut, would have anything to do with the mob or have any mob connections. However, she was asking an awful lot of questions about Sonny’s warehouse and what it was for and if there was trouble, and she had wanted to stay until Donna Corinthos (Emma and Ella Hulen) was christened.

Sonny had to tell her she couldn’t and even bought her a brand new car so she would go back home! Maybe she is just a nosy Nellie, and that’s all there was to her questions and her wanting to stay. However, she does have some savvy about leverage and how to use it.

That doesn’t mean she’s in the mob, but she does have some leverage over Sonny because she’s playing the part of Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) grandmother! She knows he faked identification papers, birth certificates, and everything else to make Dev the son of her late son Brando, whose wife also is deceased – and Sonny’s been paying out the nose to make sure she stays silent! Could Gladys – or someone she knows – have anything to do with this?
